Current status of the big dumb 3d printed elf robot that I'm using to distract myself from other shit going on is coming together nicely. One or two visible paint blobs from airbrush overspray fuckups on the legs but I'm confident those will be easily overlooked. Very pleased with the outcome of the gradients. Unusually pleased, actually, I'm usually way more self-critical about my own finished work.

A few weeks ago, the local miniature gaming association organised a painting event. The goal was simple: do your best in four hours!

I choose The Visarch an interesting miniature and wanted to keep the execution fairly simple.

I painted from start to finish with a few breaks to stretch my legs, clear my head and grab a bite to eat.

In the end, I still managed to come in second place.

Although I'm satisfied with what I did, I know I still have a lot to learn.

This is the story of a fighting soldier. Of the Demon Army of Shogunata, who decided to go after his own ex-leaders to abolish the pain they were infricting upon the land of Shogunata Empire and it's peasants. This sculpture was my attempt of trying to put it's emotions
