Hey guys! So, life has been getting really busy and stressful, so I'm making this blog private. I just don't have the energy to be a full blown rp blog anymore:) feel free to dm for more info♡
Hello, I'm Steve Rogers, just trying to navigate life and keep people safe... just a (not so little) guy from Brooklyn.
More information under the cut :)
//Mod speaking, Hi! Welcome to my Steve rp blog, this blog is now private:)//
Some more info on my Steve:
I love Steve's Irish roots so that will be brought up! My Steve has a great singing voice but never sings in front of anyone. He still does his art and loves it very much, it's his escape. Spoke Gaelic before English.
Some angsty stuff because I love angst- sorry Steve has depression, he gets overstimulated from his enhanced hearing/senses, He gets triggered by the cold, extreme claustrophobia, he has body dysmporhia, from his body changing so drastically from the serum.
July fourth, Steve Rogers birthday, or at least that’s what everyone says. It’s not actually, just some propaganda during the war, but now it’s when everyone thinks his birthday is, so he does celebrate. It is nice his real birthday is still private, something he can still have, so he doesn’t mind people thinking it’s today.
Steve makes his way out of the tower, dodging around people filling the streets, sparklers, confetti, parades, and of course his face plastered onto things. And as usual he’s expected to give a big speech, which he honestly doesn’t mind.
Steve smiles at a few people, glancing around for the person he’s supposed to be meeting here, he’d been busy running around all morning. Steve winces when he sees a few people carrying fireworks, he’s not looking forward to hearing those go off, while trying to act like he’s happy and celebrating his birthday. Hey!” Steve grins and waves at the person.
Bucky smiles and looks up. “Hey, love.” He walks over and wraps his arms around Steve. “Happy fake birthday,” he mumbles, resting his head on Steve’s shoulder.
Steve laughs softly, leaning into Bucky’s hold. “Thanks love…” He smiles gently at him, leaning his head back against his shoulder as he looks at everything.
Bucky sighs, glancing around. “You think you’ll be okay? With all the fireworks?” He’s not worried about himself. He’ll force himself through it to make sure steve’s okay. “And Madra?”
Steve sighs and shakes his head slightly. “I’m not sure it’ll be great, but I have to. You can go back to the apartment, I don’t want you hurt.” Steve leans back into him more. “Left Madra at home, I don’t want her scared.”
“No, I’ll be fine. I want to be with you.” He gently squeezes Steve’s hand. “Okay, good. I just worry it might freak her out to be alone when they start going off.”
Steve smiles and squeezes his hand back. “To celebrate my very real birthday?” He lets out a short laugh before nodding, face softening. “So do I… I told the cats to stay with her.”
“You better have gotten me a present.” Steve takes pouts, smiling at the kiss. “I hope so, we can go home and check on her after I finish my duties here.” He eyes the fireworks for a moment, then calls out thanks to people yelling happy birthday at him.
Bucky nods and gently kisses Steve’s forehead. “Yeah, it’s perfect…” he sighs. “Can you imagine if you really were born today? Christ… I can’t believe people think it’s true…”

Tony knew of course, that Steve's birthday wasn't really July 4th, but he also knew that everyone thinking it was gave him an excuse to a) buy extra presents and b) tease the shit out of his husband, so he wasn't complaining.
He walks over, all smiles. "Happy birthday, baby."
Steve smiles and walks to Tony, wrapping his arms around with him a small laugh, shaking his head. “Thanks love…” His eyes flick around the streets briefly before back to Tony. “You’re going to tease me relentlessly aren’t you?”
He kisses his cheek. "Yes. Yes I am, cap. But first I'm going to do my husbandly duties." His face sobers for a second. "Are you going to be okay today? With the fireworks and everything?'
Steve laughs softly before his own face sobers. “I’ll be alright… I can handle on night. As soon as they start I should be able to go.” He winces and shakes his head.
"Okay. Whatever you need." He leans up to kiss his cheek lightly. "Hey, I got you these, they're noise cancelling, if you need em, okay?" He presses some small, star spangled ear buds into his hand.
Steve smiles as he takes them, feeling incredibly lucky to have Tony. He laughs when he sees the star spangled. “Really Tons? Made them to match me?” He smiles and tugs Tony into a hug. “Going to enjoy my speeches?”
"Well, it seemed to fit the theme," Tony says teasingly. "And I'd hate to disturb your colour scheme." He smiles up at him, then nods. "Course i will, baby."
“Oh yeah, gotta keep the red white and blue.” He glances down at his suit and chuckles. He smiles and kisses his cheek. Waving a hand at a few people yelling happy birthday at him.
“At three, then at six, then right before fireworks.” Steve lets out a laugh and shoves his hair back. “Busy day huh?” He leans down and kisses the top of his head, happy Fonys with him.
Steve chuckles. He bums and shakes his head. “The one at three and six are the same, before fireworks is different.” He leans into Tony as he starts to walk down the street, past a few floats for the parade.
"Wonderful." Tony smiles and walks along with with him. It's nice, if you ignore all the people yelling, albiet fondly, at Steve. "Captain! Captain! Captain!"
Steve smiles and waves at them, staying close to Tony, he slowly tucks one ear buds in. “I supposed I best go do my Captain America duties of pleasing the public huh?” He glances at the crowds.
Steve makes it up to the stage eventually for his first speech, an American flag painted on one cheek, a rainbow one on the other, Steve’s grinning and looking like he’s having a fun time
“Surprisingly yes.” Steve laughs and leans into Tony, kissing him deeply before pressing their foreheads together. “I may have had a little super soldier booze before leaving the house.” He flushes.
Tony kisses him back and then laughs softly. "I had a feeling, you're cute when you're tipsy," he teases. "You're not hiding any jn that utility belt are you?"
“Just a little tipsy…” Steve giggles and kisses Tony again, not caring about the crowd. The face paint he’d had on from some kid deciding he needed it, smears onto Tony’s cheek. “Just a little for after my speeches…”
Tony happily kisses him back. "The face pain is cute," he comments, laughing when it smears onto him. "Mm, alright then. Troublemaker. Whens the next one? 6?"
“Kid gave it to me, said I needed the flag… both my flag.” He points to the smeared America one then to the rainbow one. He grins and kisses him quickly before taking a deep breath, he should probably try to center himself a bit… “Six yeah.”
Steve smiles and grabs Tony’s hand, swinging it gently, he’s surprised how much he’s actually enjoying this. “A vendor said he had a birthday cupcake for me… so I thought we could stroll through the vendors, buy some snacks… then go hide in our car for a bit.”
Tony smiles and happily follows him. "Snacks and then hiding in our car sounds perfect," he says. "Is that when you want your birthday blowjob?" He asks jokingly, eyes crinkling as he teases.
Steve chokes on his breath and claps his hand over Tony’s mouth. “Tony you can’t say that! We’re in public!” He laughs and drops his hand down, leading Tony into the vendor area, shaking his head. “You’re so bad…”
“You’re going to get me in trouble!” Steve laughs as he looks over a few of the stalls, humming softly. He drags him over to an art stand, where he’s of course greeted with enthusiastic happy birthdays.
"Im very cheeky, I know," Tony drawls. He follows him happily to the art stand, already thinking of buying Steve something. Its nice seeing him with his fans.
Steve runs his hands over some of the leather bound sketchbooks. “These are beautiful…” He whispers, glancing up to the seller and happily chatting with him, he’s just glad he’s only ran into mostly nice people today.
“Thank you baby.” Steve calls out before going back to chatting. After a few minutes he floats over to Tony with a sketchbook in hand, starts scattered across it. “This is nicer than I was expecting.” He mumbles, resting his chin on Tony’s shoulder.
“Everyone’s been surprisingly nice… though I wouldn’t be surprised if the not so nice people started showing up soon.” Steve frowns and plays with a strand of Tony’s hair. “That’s what super soldier booze is for…”
"You expecting trouble, love?" Tony asks with a slight frown of his own. He wants this to go easily for Steve, whether its his real birthday or not. "Is it , now?"
“Right.” Steve smiles and kisses Tony’s cheek. “Come on…” He carefully pulls Tony through the crowd. Wanting a little bit of quiet before things start up again.
To make the understatement of the century, it had been a rough few weeks. More accurately, it had been a few weeks from Hell, and Tony was drowning. Everything that could go wrong, did, and everyone who shouldn't pop up in his life decided to visit.
In fact, it had been an awful enough time, that Tony went to an AA meeting for the first time in close to a year. He steps out of the meeting hall, all tired eyes and a heavy slump to his shoulders, and stumbles against-- "What the hell are you doing here?"
Steve frowns and walks over, wrapping one hand around Tony’s shoulders. “I thought I’d better be here when you were done…” He looks him over worriedly. “Baby… what’s going on?”
"How'd you know i would be here?" Tony asks, slumping into Steve's hold. He hadn't told anyone where he was going. He's shaking lightly against him. "Everything. Fucking everything is going on."
Steve instantly wraps his arms around Tony, cupping the back of his head. “I suspected things were about to get bad… and this morning you felt off… I checked a few places.” He presses a kiss to the top of his head. “I’m so sorry love…”
Tony presses into Steve, clinging to him tight enough to border on being painful. "I'm glad you found me," he admits, mouth smushed against Steve's chest. "Please, can we go home?" His voice is small, quiet.
“I’ll always find you.” Steve whispers, letting Tony cling to him as tight as he needs. He nods and gently lifts Tony fully into his arms, carrying him. “We can go home love.”
“Oh honey…” Steve pulls Tony into a hug, kissing the side of his head. “You don’t have to feel ashamed… set backs happen love, you didn’t drink it, that’s a big step love.”
Tony presses heavily into the hug, still trembling. "I didn't drink it," he echoes shakily. He'd left the liquor store and driven straight to the meeting instead. But still.
“I’m proud of you for that.” Steve whispers, rubbing his back firmly. “It’s okay baby, things have been so hard for you right now, I know… but you’re gonna be okay, I’m going to help you okay?”
"I shouldn't have been there at all!" Tony protests weakly, he hates this, hates that he's so weak. He nods, though its shakey. "Yeah. Please, Steve... I need you."
Steve holds him close, his heart breaking for his husband. “I know… but it happened love, it happens with recovery. I’m so sorry.” He cradles him and holds him. “I’m here. I’m here…”
Tony buries his face in Steve's neck to stop himself from sobbing. He can't do this all again. "I'm sorry," he whispers into Steves chest. "Im so sorry!"
“Shh… none of that love, none of that. You’re okay.” Steve holds him tightly, rubbing his back, his heart aching for him. “Mistakes happen baby. It’s gonna be okay…”
“I know… but it’ll be okay.” Steve wants to cry, he just holds Tony tighter. “Baby it’s not your fault, you’re an alcoholic… you’re not wrong baby, you’re not a mess up…”
“Baby, you know that’s not how being sober works sadly, you’re always going to have that urge, and some days you slip up, but Tony… that doesn’t mean you’re not doing good.” Steve cups his face. “You are doing so good love, I’m so proud of you, look at where you are, past you would’ve drank those bottles, but you didn’t. That’s such good progress.”
“Grá…” Steve cups his cheek, looking into his eyes, his heart shattering for his husband. “I’m so sorry you have to carry this.” He whispers before pulling him to his chest. “Im so sorry.”
Steve shakes his head. “I don’t put up with you Tony…” He gently brushes his tears away gently. “I want to be with you Tony, I love all of you… even the flaws. I don’t mind them at all.”
“I know… but that’s alright, I still love you, I still want you, you could have the biggest flaw in the world and I would still choose you.” Steve brushes Tony’s hair back gently. “Tons, I love you. I’m so sorry you’re hurting so badly right now…”
"I love you too," Tony whispers, clinging to Steve gratefully. He's so lucky to have a husband like this. "Thank you," he whispers, looking up at him with wet eyes.

Steve paces around their apartment, guilt eating at him. He’d just gotten back from a mission, just a small one right outside of the city. He glances up as he hears Bucky walk in, his eyes are full of guilt, his hands hidden behind his back. “Buck…”
@steve-g-rogers
Bucky smiles as he walks in and sees Steve. “Hey, love.” He says as he puts the bag of cat food he bought on the table. He looks back to Steve after, noticing that something is wrong. “Stevie?”
“Hey baby.” Steve fidgets with his hands behind his back. “Mission went well… but something happened.” He swallows thickly, looking incredibly nervous.
“I’m not hurt…” Steve looks down, taking a shaky breath, so much guilt fills him. “I lost my ring…” He whispers devastated, holding out his hand without their ring on it.
Steve looks down, so much guilt filling his expression. “I was fighting and it just… fell off.” He can’t look at Bucky, staring at the ground. “I’m so sorry-”
Steve walks down to it, looking around carefully, the ground is burnt from flames, an old building collapsed. Steve tears up as he looks around. “They mocked me about the ring… before I lost it.”
“Mhm… and I think they were going for my ring when we were fighting.” Steve curls his hand around his other hand, tears in his eyes again. “We have to find it-”
Steve shifts through a bit of dirt, taking a few shaky breaths. “They were just some criminals… had a black market down in Brooklyn.” He mumbles to Bucky as he frowns.
“I’m being ridiculous I know… but that was my ring.” Steve whispers, he buries himself into Bucky. But a moment late a loud bang of a gun rings out, a bullet tears through Bucky’s shoulder, ripping through it before hitting Steve’s abdomen. Steve cries out I pain.
Bucky nods. “It’s not ridiculous… it was important to—“ he’s cut off as he cries out in pain, reaching to his shoulder. “F-fuck!” He snaps, trying to block out the pain. He needs to protect Steve.
“Buck!” Steve gasps in pain, one hand trying to press to his bleeding abdomen, the other clumsily trying to press to Bucky’s shoulder. Mocking laughter can be heard behind them.
Bucky carefully guides both of Steve’s hands to his abdomen. His shoulder can wait. Steve is more important. He bites back a grunt of pain. “Who are you? What the fuck?!”
Steve cries out in pain at the pressure, dropping his head back with a wince, blood pools around his fingers. “Steve really thought he could stop our little market?” A man stands behind them with a gun raised. “Brooklyn doesn’t belong to you.”
Steve presses his hands down firmly, coughing and trying to stop the bleeding. The man rolls his eyes, gun still raised. “Your little boyfriend there tried to stop our market… we got his ring, it’ll make a decent buck.”
“Let us continue to run our market. And we’ll give you the ring back and not shoot Steve again.” The man smirks. Steve winces and presses a hand to his stomach.
The man grins and lowers the gun. “Good… don’t interfere with us again, Brooklyn doesn’t belong to you.” He digs through his pocket and tosses the ring to Bucky, it’s all scratched up.
Bucky curses and rushes over. “Hey, hey, it’s okay. I’ll get a medical team on it’s way—“ he cries out in pain as he moves to fast, pulling at the bullet wound in his shoulder.
“Stop-” Steve chokes out, clumsily trying to reach for Bucky’s shoulder. “Stay still…” His eyes flutter shut for a moment, before they open again, he notices the ring and smiles ever so slightly. “My… my…”
Bucky shakes his head. “No, no you’re hurt worse. I can walk off a bullet.” He looks down and nods, carefully slipping the ring onto Steve’s finger. “Yeah, we got it back…”
Steve watches the phone slide away and giggles a little, pressing a blood stained hand to his face. “My rings getting bloody…” He mumbles, eyes dimming.
“But you’re still…” Steve tips his head back, running a bloodied hand down his face. “Still as important…” He giggles and looks just past Bucky. “Hey medics…”
Steve shakily reaches out and touches his arm, eyes half closed. A medic rushes over with wide eyes, Bucky’s absolutely covered in blood from Steve, it’s hard to tell where he was actually shot.
The medics look at each confused, one manages to find Steve’s wound, it’s a little more obvious then Bucky’s, being that it’s on his abdomen. “Barnes…” The medic starts to run his fingers over Bucky’s body, looking for the wound, his thumb jabs into his shoulder.
The man cradles his broken nose, wincing. “S’okay…” He winces as other medics rush over, one tending to Steve. “Can I touch you?” A medic holds his hand out to Hucky.

“That’s what super soldier booze is for…”
To make the understatement of the century, it had been a rough few weeks.

*They turn around, smiling and giving him a warm side hug.* “Hey! How are you doing? Is there a place to go get something to drink? Also, I have something for you.” *They were holding onto a small box that was badly wrapped with a small bow on it, in shades of blue.*
“There’s a lemonade stand over there.” Steve nods to a stand. He smiles at Anna. “I’m okay, a lot going on today…” He blinks a few times before smiling. “Really? You didn’t have to…”
“We should get some lemonade. Do you want to get some now or after you open your gift?” *They were trying hard to not fidget and show how nervous they were about the gift. What if he didn’t like them, what if they didn’t work well enough, what if they-*
“I’ll open the gift.” Steve smiles gently as he starts to open it, his eyes darting around at everything for a moment before he pulls of the paper to see the gift.
*Inside were some incredibly small earbuds that were a deep blue. They look at the earbuds and then at him and launch into their explanation.* “So Tony and I were working on separate projects, and I know that crowds are really not your thing, like they aren’t my thing. So I wanted to make something that would help you. There’s different levels of sound proofing to the earbuds, 1 tap is turning the volume down like 4 or 5 notches, 2 taps is halfway muted, 3 taps is fully muted. We can always mess around with them, if they aren’t-“
Steve smiles and holds them carefully. “They’re perfect Anna… thank you so much-” He pulls them into a gentle hug. “I hope you have some for yourself too, honey.”
“….Yes. Definitely.” *They knew they weren’t convincing him with the look he was giving them so they sigh.* “No, it was more important that I finish up your pair of earbuds first, especially since you have a speech to do today.”
Steve smiles and gently slips them into his ears. “Thank you Anna… we’ll make you some later together yeah?” He pulls them into another hug. “And when the fireworks start we’ll go back to my apartment, it’s sound proofed.”

July fourth, Steve Rogers birthday, or at least that’s what everyone says. It’s not actually, just some propaganda during the war, but now it’s when everyone thinks his birthday is, so he does celebrate. Steve winces when he sees a few people carrying fireworks, he’s not looking forward to hearing those go off, while trying to act like he’s happy and celebrating his birthday. Hey!” Steve grins and waves at the person.
“Hi Steve!” Emilia rushes up to him, handing him some captain America cupcake she bought from a cafe nearby, mostly to tease Steve with. “Happy fake birthday” she nudges his arm with a small mischievous smirk. She never really understood the forth, or American traditions, but she’ll get behind it for the sake of embarrassing Steve
“I got it from that cafe down the street! They’ve got a bunch of captain America stuff for today” she explains with a small giggle, glancing at the cartoon-ified version of him on the cupcake “they fucked up your hair” she points to the slightly flat hair in the cupcake add on, trying to annoy Steve
Steve snorts and looks to the hair. “They did fuck it up… how rude of them.” He shoot Emilia a grin, bumping his shoulder against hers. “You sticking with me for the day?”

Steve winces when he sees a few people carrying fireworks, he’s not looking forward to hearing those go off, while trying to act like he’s happy and celebrating his birthday. Hey!” Steve grins and waves at the person.
