Hey what do you know, my football season is over

I'm just done with football. It's all flowers n sunshine that I'm getting a good amount of playing time again but I've been counting down the days til it's over. Can't stand the teammates, can't stand some of the coaches, can't stand the injuries, can't stand the irony. I don't know if some of the people I'm around are actually straight up stupid, or are purposely ambiguous in their "speeches" since it always seems hypocritical or double-edged. We're facing a lot of injuries, I've been playing half-injured for over a month, yet you expect us to play at 100%, 100% of the time. I know for a fact none of you were doing that at our ages. If you were, it definitely wasn't 100% of the time either. Exaggerating your shit and punishing us for not being what you want us to be. Reality is, 80% of the players are playing INJURED, the rest are ineligible or never go in to get hurt. We're so shorthanded and using back-up players that we can't truly compete at the expected level. You want us to take care of our injuries? Well, maybe you should stop putting us in the position to be injured, and be smarter about HOW you want us to practice. Football is a complicated sport that uses a lot of mental processes, but damn I wish your natural thinking wasn't so fucking stupid. I low-key hope I get injured just so I can sit out the last 2 games. Unlike 90% of the team, I still have another sport to look forward to, I don't wanna get wrecked anymore. I don't want to play anymore. But at least I have enough to stick it through instead of straight-up quitting.
