So I know I don’t have enough nerd friends to genuinely appreciate this post, but after dozens of sleepless nights I have finally managed to get a working Hackintosh system. A hackintosh is basically the attempt at installing Mac OSX on non-Apple hardware, in my case, a Lenovo Thinkpad T420. After thousands writing lines of unix code and kext edits I managed to get the trackpad, keyboard,camera,thinklight,wifi,fullQE/CL resolution, and SLEEP to work flawlessly and fluidly with 10.7. Along with my fully working hackintosh came XCODE as well as the entire iOS SDK. Finally I can stop borrowing my sister’s Macbook to code haha. Now time for Mountain Lion. Hehe.
