so today I wanted to wear something more like planned so I wore a Metallica shirt with like ripped sleeves underneath, black cargo pants, a zip up sweater that was black, a bit of a clunky belt and a denim vest that I have covered in pins and patches of bands or shows I like one of them including a hellfire patch.

I was really proud of the outfit and I styled my hair today (it’s like a short shoulder length wolf cut/mullet and it’s curly/wavy).

so I was out at a record store looking for cd’s on sale of bands I like when I accidentally bump into a girl who’s looking at the other side of the little isle made by the cd racks. I apologize and she does too but then she looks me up and down and goes

“oh your outfit, are you like cosplaying Eddie from stranger things?” And as much as I love Eddie I hate how I can’t just wear anything close to what he wears in the show without someone thinking I’m doing a really bad closet cosplay like I JUST LIKE VESTS AND METAL and like people always say that I’m “trying to be him” cause I have similar hair and dress sorta like him and play dungeons and dragons. Like I started playing dungeons and dragons before I watched the show like I watched the show because I liked d&d not the other way around. Like I’m not trying to change my personality to be him I’m just a regular human being who dresses in an alt style and listens to heavy metal.
