Not In Kansas Anymore // Cavan & Fiona
Cavan was pleased with Fiona’s smile. It was one of his favorite things in the world - seeing her smile. He buckled himself in and kept his eyes on her for a few moments. He was still shocked that this was actually happening to him. With the windows down, the music up, and Fiona sitting next to him it felt like a normal day back in Bundoran. It’s funny how they were fighting only a little while before that. That’s how there relationship always was though; it had its ups and downs. But to Cavan, it was mostly all ups. Fiona’s hands fit so perfectly in his that he felt completely at peace with everything in the world. Cavan smirked over at her after her request. “I’m sure I can manage keeping you company during the film."
Once they reached the inn, Cavan grabbed his board from the back of his truck and followed Fiona’s lead back upstairs. Standing outside of the entrance to her room, he smiled. “Of course I’m in. After a day like that do you think I’m gonna sit upstairs alone when you’re right down here?" They made their way into the accomidation Fiona shared with her roommate. Cavan leaned his board against the wall and checked out the room quickly. It was identical to his own besides the fact that her was personalized with the girls’ belongings. Smiling at Fiona, something which he currently could not stop doing, he cocked his head to the side, “So, what American movie are we watching?" Â
She laughed as he followed her into her shared room, standing her board up against the wall by her competition board. Turning on the lights, she threw her clothes in the pile she created earlier that day. She sat on the end of her bed, grabbing his arm to pull him down beside her. “Who knows? Maybe you were bored of me already." She joked, knowing that that was definitely not the case. She bit her bottom lip softly as he asked about the movie. “There was no film to begin with. But, I’m sure you can find one." Fiona had used the movie as a way to hang out with him some more. She couldn’t leave him after what had just happened in the car. “I’m sure there’s something worth watching." She handed him the slim black remote that came with the tv that was opposite of the two beds.
She stood once more. “Look that way." She said to him, pointing in the direction away from her. Assuming he did so, she stripped from her bikini. Fiona wasn’t bothered by getting changed in front of him, it’s not like he hasn’t seen her naked before, but she wasn’t sure if he was comfortable or not. So, it was best if she told him to look away. However, Fiona wasn’t modest at all, and she’d get changed in front of anyone if it were socially acceptable. Out of her bag, she yanked out a pair of sweatpants, as the air-conditioned room had caused a chill on her skin, and a zip-up hoodie. She put on the clothes, lacking a shirt underneath her jacket, causing the cool metal of the zipper to sit on her chest. After she finished, she plopped on the bed, her head propped on the pillow, able to see the TV clearly. “Hey, come on, I don’t bite." She said, laughing, as she tapped her hand on the spot next to her, inviting him to sit beside her.
