hii it feels so weird to post here after almost six months…
but yes! i’m okay and everything is. it’s just that I rarely use tumblr now, that’s the only reason. I tried to get back into it but idk what happened. idk if it’s just that I lost my motivation to write, or maybe it was the trouble of the spanish/english writing.
I have a fic in my drafts, and I tried posting it but it just wasn’t the same. I didn’t want to disappoint anyone. and I just want to apologize to everyone that I kept waiting.
if I do end up posting fics again, i’m not sure if it will be enzo. not only bc of the format trouble, but bc my likings shifted during these five months, but maybe I will.
I wish you’d write more in English (even dialogue), it’s so difficult having to translate every single sentence in the middle of a fic 🥺

So my next few fics will be completely in english and I’ve been thinking of starting a series and I want to do it in english as well, but i’m still not sure if I’ll do it. I also wanted to take a moment and say that I’m back in school from my break so I won’t have enough time to write imagines, so I will be closing my requests until further notice, also due to my exams that are coming up in May. I didn’t want to bc I absolutely love all the ideas you guys send me, but I just won’t have the time. I hope you guys understand!

*๑՞ note: omg I lost the request but thankfully I snapped a picture before it happened. but yes I agree that enzo would be the type to let you have a full plate in order for you to eat. this one is a short one! this one has been sitting in my drafts for a few days now.
“Espero y te guste.” You position your boyfriend’s plate of pasta in front of him, where his elbows rested on the cover of the table while he typed away something quick on his phone.
He had brought up that he was starving and had a craving for your pasta, and of course, you couldn’t say no to him. Also, you had been seeing TikTok videos where couples and parents test their loved ones to see their reaction to them serving themselves a much smaller meal, or with less food than theirs. You hadn’t had the chance to try it on Enzo but today seemed perfect.
So after you finished cooking you made sure to not let him in the kitchen to help you out, as he usually did. It was his way of not just standing there and feeling like a burden, but you managed to convince the man and had him sit this one out. When you walked out of the kitchen with your plate, Enzo left his phone aside as he didn’t want to start without you. It was a thing he always did ever since you started dating.
“¿Listo?” Your question falls from your lips, it was a simple question but deep inside you were holding a peal of laughter.
“Sí.” He picks up his gaze and with it his fork, but it quickly falls to your plate. “Eh, nena ¿por qué te serviste tan poco?”
Now this is where the game started. “Es todo lo que queda, amor.” You simply say, with no bother.
But to Enzo it was a huge bother. He didn’t feel pleased eating a much bigger portion than you, you barely had any. He felt as if he was taking all of it.
“¿Como que es todo lo que hay? ¿No hiciste más?” Questions and questions.
“No había más pasta. Pero no pasa nada amor de verdad.” You claimed with a tone that kept its calm, but inside the laughter cried within you.
Enzo didn’t say a word but his eyes remained on your plate. If you thought he was going to leave this as it was you were wrong, because without a warning he picked up yours and his plate and switched them.
His action made your eyes go wide and a small smile that crept upon your lips. “¿Enzo que haces?”
He grabbed his fork and began to twist it in the pasta to get a piece. “Te cambié para que vos tengas más.”
Could he be any more perfect?
“Pero si tú tenías hambre.” You attempt on grabbing your plate back but Enzo’s arm covers your move.
“Para nena. Ese plato te lo quedas vos. Yo me quedo con este.” He bites the food away from the fork, standing by his declaration.
His sweetness made you smile and grip his hand with a small rub on his thumb. You couldn’t do this to him and leave him with the smallest plate, you already felt bad with having him switch both your plates.
“Es broma, gordo.” You finally say with the smile that you had on your lips, which was caught by his eyes with his mouth opened just a bit enough for the pasta to fit in.
Enzo swallowed confused “¿Cómo?” He wasn’t catching on, to anything that you could be suppressing your laughter about. So you decided to bring him behind the curtain and explain everything to him, and all you noticed was the furrow in his brows. “¿Es en serio?”
“Sí” You nod.
“Entonces sí hay más comida.” He raised one brow, with a tone that said he knew the answer but still wanted to hear it from you.
“Sí.” You repeat with a small giggle while you watch him drop his weight on the back of the chair.
“Dale pues sirvete más por favor.” He motions for the kitchen, but he stops you. “No sabes que, para, te sirvo yo. Vos quédate acá.”
And before you could say anything to stop him, Enzo got up and walked towards the kitchen to grab a bigger plate and serve the good amount you deserve. This new kind gesture from Enzo only made your heart swell and grow more love for him. How it didn’t matter to him that he was starving, he still made sure you came first.
“Servido.” He placed the plate in front of you and delivered a soft peck on your cheek that made you smile.
“Gracias.” You say holding his hand, “Y no solo por servirme otro plato, si no por darme el tuyo. Significa mucho para mí Enzo.”
Enzo leaned in to kiss you and placed a few strands of hair behind your ear to caress your cheek, “No es nada bonita. Sabes que para mí, vos siempre vas a estar primero. No importa la circunstancia.”
Oh, you were going to marry this man. There was no doubt.

Being in the film industry has always been your dream. The idea that with a camera you could simply create magic. Art.
So being here, in this cast, meant everything to you, big opportunities would start coming your way if you did an amazing job and worked hard. You were never going to stop showering J.A with Thank you’s.
He sees the talent in people, and those exact people go big, they create history. The history of the cinema.
“Eh Bayona, ¿Le puedo preguntar algo?” You called for your boss’ attention.
When he approached you, he came towards you with a small furrow on his brows. “Déjate de la formalidad, J.A está bien. Y tutéame que no pasa nada.”
Your lips pulled their muscles for a smile at the kind gesture. “Bueno, J.A.” The name felt weird on your tongue, but it was just for you to get used to it. “¿Cómo quieres que le demos la toma cuando caen en el avión?” Your hands stayed on the handles of the camera, but your eyes scanned for answers in the director’s lensed ones.
J.A gave you a look, with his finger resting on his lips. “¿Tú que piensas?”
It had you shocked that a director like him was asking for your opinion. That wasn’t something that could happen to just anybody, so you had to be wise with your words.
You bit your lip, gathering all your ideas as quickly as you could. “Pues yo diría que podemos darle un zoom a varias partes de la escena. Darle ese toque para que la persona que está viendo la escena sienta que está ahí en ese momento. Obviamente con tanto metal de los asientos no puedes ver tanto.”
“Eres buena. Me gusta.” His words made your smile grow wider. You felt proud. The sound of his phone interrupted the both of you as he pulled out the device to read the new message. “¿Tú no has conocido a Enzo verdad?”
You knew Enzo was the one that portrayed Numa, and narrated the story but you hadn’t had the chance to meet him. The times he would be around you would be in other places, experimenting with your camera, attempting to get new shots. You were given the chance to meet some of the other boys from the cast, but still not Enzo.
“Eh, no, todavía no.” You passed your hands through your overalls leaving the camera to be. “¿Por qué?”
“Ven que lo vas a conocer.” Bayona motioned for you to walk his way.
The both of you strode across the set, feeling the fake snow crumple and break into millions with every step both of you took. Your eyes were quick to take a glimpse of the ten boys you already knew about. Matias, Juani, Fran, Esteban, Simon, Agus, Valentino, Andy, Felipe, and Rafael. A small wave came their way from your part as your right hand rested on your back pocket.
“Hasta que te dignas dejarte ver.” Fran is the first to speak and give you a hug that swings both of you from left to right.
“Sí, hola chicos.” You rest your chin on Fran’s shoulder to peek at the rest of the guys who have already given you a small wave.
When you pulled away, there was another one, standing with the rest of the guys. Only this time you didn’t recognize him. His skin was toned, hair only resting above his ears, and he wore a plain grey t-shirt with black pants.
He must be Enzo.
And just as you spotted him, J.A’s voice startled you out of view. “Chaval hasta que te apareces.” He walked towards Enzo and rested his arm around him as much as he could.
You stood in your spot as you watched how the both of them walked your way. Your feet rocked back and forth waiting, and you noticed how Enzo had his eyes on you, ignoring everything J.A was telling him as if the sound had gone mute on him.
“Ella es T/N, la directora de fotografía.” Bayona introduced you to Enzo, it still felt weird hearing that title for you. “T/N, él es Enzo.”
Without a word, you extended your hand for him to shake, but you made sure to paint a smile on your lips to not appear serious. “Mucho gusto.”
“Igualmente.” You had already listened to his recorded audios for the film, but oh it couldn't compare to hearing him in person. You could hear the accent painting his words as it refreshed your memory. His voice was somehow deep but raspier at the same time.
It was strange that you had the chance to hear his voice but never see his face.
“¿Sos de aquí?” He questioned, already having an interest in you.
“Ehm no, no yo vengo de Nueva York. Estudio allá.” You informed, there was a soft glance on his part.
“Eh J.A, T/N, tenemos las cámaras listas solo necesitamos que den la última palabra.” A crew member interrupts the scene making all eyes go on him.
“Dale, chicos, nos vemos al rato.” J.A looked at the boys before his eyes landed on you, who gave him a small nod of agreement for the two of you to walk.
Enzo watched you disappear from the scene, where he stood with the rest of the guys. His frame stood still with his eyes focused on your back while you talked to J.A, doing all kinds of motions with your hands to what he thought were discussions from the scenes.
“Miren a este ya embobado con la mina.” Juani teases, his hand interlocked over his neck while he messes his hair up.
Enzo chuckled. “Para.” His tongue dragged the last word. “Que nada mas se me hizo linda.” There was a shrug on his part, but it looked like he had more questions. “Pero que no se ve muy chica?”
“Pues a nosotros nos había dicho que todavía está en la universidad, último año. Solo que J.A le dio la oportunidad de estar en este rodaje.” Matías informed, with a sense of knowledge in his voice.
Enzo kept Matias’ words in his mind. “¿Entonces esta sola acá?”
“¿Qué? ¿Le queres hacer compañía?” Valentino spoke this time, making a burst of laughter from all the guys fill the atmosphere.
Enzo rolled his eyes at all the teasing he was receiving from his part, “Solo estoy haciendo unas preguntas.” He defends, but Enzo knows that no matter how hard he tries to save himself from that position, the boys are not going to let him out of this one easily.
“Aha aha. Preguntas papi.” Pipe pats him on the back before he exits the scene walking toward where you and J.A last walked.

“¿Que te pareció Enzo?” J.A breaks all the concentration you had focused on your camera.
You remained your physical focus on the device, but your mind was already wandering towards your encounter with the man.
“Bien. Se ve que es buena persona.” You smiled not having anything bad to say about him, after all, you had just met him.
“Y lo es. Se van a llevar muy bien.” J.A pointed towards you, with his clipboard in hand, his voice was filled with confidence no other could possess.
You gave no response but still offered a kind smile to the man. Maybe he was right, from what you’ve heard about him he seemed like a kind, loving person to be around. Was mostly reserved to himself but was well-loved, and cared for others.
“Puede ser.” You finally spoke up. Your attention fell in the direction of the crowd of boys who were talking about whatever it was that had them arguing around.
Your eyes get caught with Enzo’s and all you can do is gift him a wave while your other hand rests on the handle of the camera. And you noticed that instead of him doing the same thing as all the boys, pushing each other and yelling, he seemed more calm and relaxed.

“Que hijo de puta.” You got up and went out for the exit of the restaurant after you left a nice tip for the waiter who had been restocking your glass for the past hour and sneaked in a small snack. Said, “From the house.” He likely felt bad for you.
You had been stood up. Not because something went on, there was just no justification as to why. Your date just never arrived. You had spammed him with messages, asking if he was okay and if he was on his way. You could feel the tears grow, and you felt stupid for it, you told yourself that you shouldn’t be crying, that you should wipe the tears away because he didn’t deserve them. He didn’t deserve you.
So you kept your head high and sniffed the pain away as you walked back home. Where you were going to watch a movie and drink something, yeah, that sounds nice.
But your eyes caught a glimpse of Someone who you knew very well. Enzo. He had his bike, and it seemed like he had earbuds in, with a small satchel across his torso. He was coming from the opposite way, towards where you were walking, making the both of you collide in paths. Why did you have to bump into him during this moment?
“Ah, nena que gusto verte.” His earbuds are withdrawn from his ears from a slight tug to be put away.
“Hola, Enzo.” You tried to look fine, but you couldn’t tell that your mascara had smeared just a little. A little enough for Enzo to pick up on it.
And so he got closer towards you, “¿Estás bien?”
“Sí, sí. Alergias.” You fibbed quickly.
Enzo stayed quiet for a moment, he wasn’t sure if you were telling the truth but he didn’t want to push it and make you uncomfortable. So he just altered the topic. “¿Y a dónde ibas?”
“A mi casa.” You gestured with your hand, a small dangling sound coming from your keys.
Enzo looked at the time and you. “Te acompaño si quieres. No tengo a donde más que ir.” He offers with a smile.
You relished his kind gesture but you didn’t want him to see you like this. Bummed down all for a guy, and all you wanted to do was be alone, but you couldn’t tell him that.
“No te preocupes, no te quiero molestar.” You seemed genuine but it wasn’t going to easily convince Enzo.
“No en serio, no es para nada. Además ya pronto se hace noche y no puedo dejar que una chica como vos ande sola por las calles.” He raised an eyebrow with another smile. This man did not know when to give up huh?
But he was right, being alone in the streets at night was risky. “Bueno, okay.” You smile while he turns in his direction to walk next to you. You didn’t want to have an uncomfortable silence so you decided to continue the conversation. “¿De dónde venías?”
“Ehh, pues fui con los chicos a la casa de Juani.” He strolled his bike with the steps. You caught his glimpse towards you from your peripheral vision. “¿Y vos? Me enteré que tenías una cita. Me imagino que te fue bien.” Juani.
It was likely that Juani mentioned it in the hangout if they questioned why you weren’t there.
“Ah, sí.” You chuckled looking down at your steps but brought your head up and removed a strand of hair from your eyes. “Nunca llegó.”
Enzo stayed quiet for a second not sure what to say. But was it bad to feel good on his part that there was still no guy in your life? He shouldn’t feel that, but he can’t help it.
“Lo siento nena.” He says recognizing that he had never given you an answer. “Es un cara de pija que no te merece.”
You giggled in agreement with him. You realized you had reached the corner of your house, and it seemed so did Enzo. But it felt nice having him around, like the old times.
“¿Quieres pasar?” You murmured with a hint of nervousness in your tone that you wished wasn’t evident towards Enzo.
“No quiero molestar.” Was his answer. Just like yours when you didn’t want to bother him in walking you home.
“No en serio. Te invito una copa de vino, que no sea en vano todo esto.” You attempted to convince him.
“No fue en vano, nena. Te pudo haber pasado algo.” There was something soft in his vocals, he genuinely cared about you and anything that could happen to you. “Pero dale.”
The smile embellished in your face structures as you quickly moved aside to let him bring his bike inside and leave it in the yard. With his hands finally free, he made sure to wipe away any sign of possible sweat in them. His eyes scanned around your house, Enzo hadn’t been here in what could have been a year, and before that, he only had came twice.
“¿Vino blanco o tinto?” The sound of your keys clinking onto the surface material of the table made him come back from his trance.
“Ehm, tinto está bien.” He decided to walk over towards you.
You opened one of the cabinets and grabbed two glasses and the bottle from the fridge. The nipping of the bottle made your fingers go numb from the low temperature. You had kicked closed the door of the fridge from not being able to close it with your hands which were both occupied.
Enzo was following you around like a lost puppy who was afraid to lose you and wouldn't know how to find you. His actions came to cease when you placed the items on the coffee table and let your hands drop to hit your thighs with a small smile.
“Sientate.” You gestured towards your couch before you began to pour the crimson-colored liquid into the glasses.
Enzo sat next to you and murmured a small thank you when you handed him his glass. When he took the first sip, the sweetness and sourness of the wine ran down his throat making him lick his lips. You moved the thin part of the glass as you tried to think of something to not stay quiet, but nothing came to mind. Only this time you were grateful for Enzo to start the conversation.
He cleared his throat leaving the wine on the table to clasp his hands before he turned his eyes towards you,“¿Como te sentís?”
You gave your glass another sip looking up at the ceiling, with many feelings rushing through your brain at the moment, but you didn’t want to burden Enzo with all of them.
“Un poco mejor.” Is what you say, and it wasn't completely a lie. Having Enzo around was making you feel better.
“Que bueno. Y no te preocupes, ya vendrá alguien mejor. Alguien que te merezca.” The words fell sweetly off his tongue.
“Gracias.” You gift him a sincere smile. Hearing Enzo say that made you realize there were other guys out there, but did it have to come from him?
“¿Queres que te cuente algo para levantarte el ánimo?” He suggests, with the glass back in his hand while the other pushes his strands of hair back. That soft black hair.
You smiled, nodding at his act, “Dale.”
He already knew what he would say, so it took him a millisecond to start his conversation. “Bueno te cuenta de la ves que a mí también me dejaron plantado.”
“¿Te dejaron plantado?” Full of surprise you look at him. How could someone leave him stood up? “No.”
“En serio.” He chuckled knowing you weren’t believing him. “Supuestamente le salió un plan familiar pero se le olvidó que seguía a una de sus amigas, y vi que subieron una foto donde estaban en una fiesta.”
“Wow.” You say, chuckling. Why didn’t she just tell him she didn’t want to go out and that was it? “¿Y como te sentiste?” You were curious if he felt the same way you were feeling right now. Maybe he reacted differently.
“Pues la verdad no me sentí mal. Me di cuenta de que ella no era para mí, y que se veía que no se tomaba las cosas en serio.” He sipped from his glass not removing his eyes off you. The contact he sent your way was something that made your heart do a flip.
At least one of you reacted better, all you wanted to do was scream into a pillow and tell yourself that you weren’t going to go on another date anymore.
“Hmm.” Comes out of your lips. You glanced over towards his glass which was already almost empty, enough for one last tasteful sip. “¿Quieres más?”
Enzo glanced at his drink, and he debated whether to accept it or not, but one more glass wouldn’t do anything. “Por favor.”
And so you refilled his glass with the red and picked up where you left off on the conversation to not leave it on a dead end. “Pues como tú me dijiste a mí, ya llegará alguien mucho mejor.” You glanced at him as you poured the wine into your cup.
“Sí.” He lets the sigh escape his lips, a sigh full of secrets that only he knew. The bitterness of it taking over his tongue, he wasn’t sure if it was from so much wine. “Vos vas a encontrar a alguien que te valore, ame, y te de su tiempo. Ya verás, vos confía.” He sounded confident in his response.
You had no answer, you only smiled at him. With your arm resting on your couch and keeping a grip on your glass with both hands, your eyes were on Enzo.
“Lo dudo.” You finally say, with no regret or second thought in your tone.
“No, nena, vos no lo ves pero sos maravillosa. Debes de tener así de chicos-” He extends his arms making you giggle with a shake of the head, “¡¿Que?! ¡Es en serio! Haces reír a la gente, ayudas en todo, tienes un corazón de esos que ya casi no hay y eso se tiene que valorar. Y si él no pudo, ya llegará alguien.” Enzo states, in this last sentence he looked into space, his voice had fallen into a much calmer tone than how he started.
He cleared his throat and gave you a small smile before he decided to chug the rest of his drink without stopping for a whiff. You noticed his eyes go over to the bottle that was closer to you than him, and you reached over to pass it over. With a nod of the head, you told him it was fine to grab more.
“Eres muy buena persona, Enzo.” You whisper watching as he pours his third glass.
Enzo cracked up to himself before he took a long sip from his new liquid. “¿Sabes algo, chiquita?” You knew the wine was starting to hit him as he normally wouldn’t call you that nickname. At least not anymore.
“¿Que?” You replied, in the same soft manner that he spoke. It was quiet, and peaceful, with no sound in the room apart from the wind that was blowing.
“Vos me gustabas a mí.” His index finger pointed towards you with the glass still in his hand.
You felt your blood leave your body to fall to your toes. This feeling in your heart that you couldn’t explain traveled all around your body like a type of venom that wanted to take all over your veins.
He.. liked you.. too?
“¿Cómo?” Your vocals fell off, broke with the feeling of not knowing how to react.
“Sí. Y vas a decir que es el alcohol pero de echo me está haciendo el favor.” He jokes. Something for himself to not make him regret.
“¿Desde cuando?” You hoped he didn’t like you the time you liked him too.
“Desde hace dos años.” God.
You remembered the first time you met Enzo, he was so sweet towards you, there was no way for you to not fall immediately for him. Every day after filming you would text for at least 30 minutes, or hang out with the boys, but it was always Enzo and you.
“¿Pero por qué no dijiste nada?” You whispered, you could feel a lump growing in your throat. It wasn’t the time for crying.
“Por qué te vi con aquel chico esa ves que salimos todos de fiesta. Se veían demasiado juntos y vi que te dio un papelito.” His tone was dead, with no emotion. “Esa noche te lo iba a confesar todo.”
You blinked the tears away and looked the opposite way so Enzo would see. You had placed the glass on the coffee table leaving your hands to rest on your eyes as your elbows made contact with your knee.
Enzo seemed confused as to why you could be acting like this. “¿Que pasa?” He tried looking for signs that could tell him what was going on.
“Enzo tú… tú a mí también me gustabas desde el rodaje. Nada más que nunca te lo dije por qué te distanciaste.” Your voice had a desperate tone, a tone that hurt your vocals with each word.
“Oh,” Is all he managed to say. “Fue mi culpa.” He turns his body forward setting his elbows on the tops of his knees. “Fue mi culpa por distanciarme de vos, y por dejarme llevar por mis pensamientos.”
If he would’ve just asked you what happened that night this would have ended so much differently than what it did. The two of you could have been together doing something else right now.
“No hay forma de que hubieras sabido, Enzo.” You say a little much calmer now. The dead tone of your voice made it hard to understand but he somehow did.
“No pero si no te hubiera dejado en la oscuridad hubieramos terminado diferente.” He states, his finger ran through his hair several times to get the strands out of his face.
This last part made you blink a few times before you turned towards him. “¿Hubiéramos terminado diferente?” The way he said it so determined made something inside you move.
Enzo looked perplexed, “Por supuesto. Si los dos teníamos sentimientos por el uno al otro yo te hubiera pedido que fueras mi novia.”
Hearing those words come from his lips felt completely different. From the many times you imagined it, this one topped them because they don’t compare. This was real.
“¿Te puedo preguntar algo?” You weren’t going to back down this time, you had to ask him, “¿Tú todavía sientes algo por mí?” You questioned, with nervousness filling your body as you waited for his answer, it felt like hours.
“Chiquita, nunca dejé de sentir algo por vos.” He gave you a look that showed he was desperate, tired of suppressing it. “¿Vos sentís algo por mí?” Now it was his turn to ask.
“Yo tampoco dejé de sentir algo por ti.” You quote his answer, your lips grew a smile that couldn’t be compared to any other. Enzo felt all kinds of emotions run through him and so did you.
You felt like you wanted to scream, run a marathon, kiss him. Kiss him. But all the urges you felt, Enzo felt them too, especially kissing you. He wanted to feel the touch of your lips against his, the softness.
“¿Te puedo besar?” He asked, the sensation of flutter in your heart at the question couldn't compare. You had been waiting for this moment for what passed from months into years.
You gave him a nod as you bit your bottom lip excitedly yet worried. He moved closer to you and all you did was freeze in the spot, not wanting to do anything, and afraid to mess up the moment. With every touch Enzo would deliver towards your cheek from the softness of his finger pads, your heart was darting beats. You were surprised you hadn’t fainted during this point.
“¿Nena, estás bien?” Enzo noticed your heavy breathing, this made him smile and chuckle all at the same time. Were you being that loud?
“Perdón, es que—” You were unsettled and couldn’t help but let out a chuckle. “Me imagine este momento muchas veces que ya me había echo a la idea de que nunca iba a pasar. Y siento que todavía me lo estoy imaginado.”
If this was a cartoon, In Enzo’s eyes it would’ve appeared that diamond glint that shimmers every time the character feels their heart swell at anything their lover would say.
“¿Ah te lo imaginabas?” He teased, you could feel the apologetic color of red on your face, from your neck to your ears. “Pues no te preocupes que esto es real, bonita.”
His hot breath hit you on your lips but to you, it felt as if it was hitting you all over the body. Enzo’s hand remained on the back of your head and your eyes stayed closed because even if he told you this was real, you were afraid that if you were to open them you would wake up from this whole thing that felt like a dream.
Enzo moved so slowly as if he wanted this moment to last an eternity, to cherish it with everything he had. Because just like you, he dreamed of this moment so many times.
And when his lips finally touched yours, it felt as if fireworks were exploding in the background for the both of you. Cliché huh? There was a sigh from your part that made your body relax into his touch and lips. There was that kiss, finally. The feeling that was rushing through your body, you couldn’t explain it, but if it was possible you would be floating mid-air.
Enzo pulled away slightly, his eyes had changed from that delicate look he always had to a much dimmer one. Full of lust and desperation, It hit you to your core, you had to squeeze your legs.
“¿Aún crees que es un sueño?” He grunted. His voice was much raspier, from how low he was talking between the two. As if he was afraid someone would listen to this intimate moment.
You shake your head, fast, wanting to have his lips back on yours, and as if your minds were connected, Enzo pulls you back into another wonderful kiss, where his tongue dives into your mouth without hesitation, and a care of the world. Where he bit your lip without remorse, wanting to taste the blood. Where his kisses got sloppier with each muscle movement. Where he had to pull back because he was afraid to lose control and go farther.
“Definitivamente no es un sueño.” You breathed, and the atmosphere felt as if it had squeezed out of the room with how much closer you had gotten.
Enzo let out a chuckle while he pushed his forehead against yours not wanting to miss contact with you. Not again. “¿Te puedo invitar a salir?” He swallowed. Even if you couldn’t tell, he felt anxious asking you a simple question, he ignored the fact the two of you had just kissed.
“¿No me vas a dejar plantada?” You teased, and the both of you chuckled at what had now become your inner joke.
“Nunca.” He declares, he would have to go insane to leave you stood up.
Your eyes inspected his traits with a smile painted on your lips, “Dale.”

Everything with Enzo was like an ideal for you, a secret dream. In the acting industry, there are three types of people, fans. The ones that care(sometimes too much), the ones that don’t, and the ones that don’t really involve themselves in anything. The media wasn’t sure if they wanted you and Enzo to be together, as there had been things about you in the media. Or had big enemies.
But come on, Enzo’s heard of them all and the man did not care. Enzo knew that one thing was the media and the other was real life. He would read that you were crazy, but you were the opposite of everything he would see.
Then there was when fans from both sides wanted the two of you to be together. Having a big reputation came with its outlay. Being known everywhere you would step into, and having people know everything about your business. Figured you out in everything. But also being the it girl and guy of the era. You’ve been in the industry a little longer than Enzo, so everyone knew who you were. Had been in many hit films. While Enzo had just become the talk of the media, being the man every girl was obsessed with.
So of course when you and Enzo got to the red carpet, you both became the big conversation of everyone around that venue. The cameras that flashed, and interviewers trying to get your attention, were a hell of a show.
“No estabas mintiendo cuando dijiste que toda la atención iba a estar en nosotros.” Enzo moved his lips but didn’t withdraw his eyes from the lenses. Hands were set on your hip giving gentle squeezes.
“Te dije.” You did the same thing as him on keeping your sight focused on the cameras.
Pose after pose and you finally had decided to move on to an interview, where you knew, questions about the two of you were about to be asked.
“¡T/N! ¡Enzo! Que gusto verlos.” The interviewer welcomed.
The microphone was set between the two for the both of you to gab into. “¡Hola!”
The first thing her eyes caught a glimpse of was the interlocking hands of you and Enzo. “Veo que vienen juntos.”
“Sí, decidimos que— que ya era tiempo de revelar nuestra relación.” Your eyes glanced at Enzo who nodded at you with a smile.
“¡Ay, son pareja! ¡Que lindo!” She dragged the last syllable on her tongue. “¿Cuánto llevan?”
You chose to leave this question to Enzo. “Cuatro meses.”
The look of surprise fell upon her face. “Que gusto por ustedes. ¡Pero que guapos se ven los dos! T/N te ves hermosa con ese vestido.” She gestures for the camera to do a run of your dress.
You had a red dress that had a tad of puffiness on it, leaving it free to move every time you walked, and the sleeves fell over your shoulders in a princess style. “Ay, gracias.”
“Y Enzo, guapísimo con este traje.” The interviewer turned towards Enzo, who only looked down at his suit.
“Muchas gracias.” He does his signature move, by placing his hand on his chest.
The interviewer continued asking a couple of questions about each of your careers, but you knew the relationship ones were coming momentarily or later. Have to leave the fairest for last, No?
“¿Y ustedes como se sienten a qué pronto van a ser la boca de todo mundo?” Bingo. There was the question.
You sighed, straining to find your words. “Pues, un poco nerviosos no lo vamos a negar. Pero ya queríamos dejar de escondernos. Y decidimos que tampoco nos va a importar lo que diga la gente.” You gave her a nod that she reflected.
You and Enzo had your ups and downs through the relationship, but you always managed to rise and stay in the middle where nothing could affect you and keep it leveled. Always being the end game that you were.
“Pues muchas felicidades a los dos y estoy muy contenta por ustedes. Pásenla bien.” She lets the both of you walk away into the other millions of people around.
“Eso estuvo mejor de lo que esperé.” Enzo chuckles, feeling a sort of solace. “Pero es solo el comienzo.”
And he was right. This was just the beginning of a rollercoaster full of emotions. With both of you being the talk of the industry, and having two of the most successful actors together, it was something monumental. If it was already making an impact you didn’t even want to know how much heftier it could get.

“Look at how they’re dancing.” Your voice was filled with excitement and your face also showed it. “The way they’re feeling the music.”
“Oh yeah. They’re feeling it alright. Very much.” Nick mentions. You had come with a date. More like an arranged date, from your parents. They had been waiting for you to date the son of one of their closest friends and colleagues. Business allies.
You’ve known Nick since you were toddlers, you grew up together. So having the son and daughter, together of the two important companies is like continuing the legacy. Business. Money. You had come to Cuba for the very reason, corporation. Those meetings would bored you to death, you would prefer to read a book instead.
There was something about the music. It made you interested, and excited, seeing all the bodies dancing together. The women swayed their hips to the rhythm of the music, and the men pressed against the body frame. It was intense, yet your attention was devoted to it. Specifically to someone. Enzo. You had met him by the pool of the hotel where your family and Nick’s had been staying, he had accidentally spilled a few drinks and you decided to help him.
You had bumped into him on one of the streets, once again. He was dancing. A dancing that you hadn’t seen, and he had caught you staring. You told him about your parents taking you guys to a Country Club, and that’s when he mentioned the Havana Club. You thought about it when he first mentioned it, and your answer was an obvious no in your head, but after getting to the Country Club your answer had changed. The atmosphere was so grown up, so business you felt you would fall asleep at any moment.
So you asked Nick if he wanted to join you. You expected him to say no, but his answer was otherwise. And so now, the both of you stood in a Club that was much different from what the two of you knew.
There was that moment when your eyes met with Enzo’s, and it felt as if the moment hindered down. Your heart stopped for a minute, feeling a weird sensation running through your body. You kept the contact, and the smile on your face as you watched him come to you.
“Ah, you came!” The excitement was in his voice, and with how his arms raised when he saw you. “Look at you all fancy.”
“Yeah!” You giggled, eyes shooting down at your dress. A semi-short navy blue dress, somewhat loose only towards the end.
“Hi, I'm Enzo.” Enzo extends his hand for Nick to shake.
“Nick.” He takes his hand and shakes it for a second.
“Yeah, I know who you are, cheto.” His accent showed in the last phrase. It left the both of you confused not knowing what he had said. “Country Club was boring?” Enzo damps his lips with the wetness of his tongue, his attention being back on you.
He waited for an answer, only he got it from Nick. “We thought we could expand our horizons, you know, bro.” He gifts a shrug motion.
“You mean like, naturally experience Havana?” Enzo's lips turned into a smirk that he accompanied with a small sway of his hips, he managed to get a smile from you after his eyes moved to you. He was giving you a daring look, he licked his lips once more before he spoke and returned his eyes to Nick. “You mind if I dance with your date?”
Your mouth fell open with a smile. You weren’t going to deny you were excited, but yet nervous because you didn’t know a single move of this kind of dancing.
“Don’t ask me. You have to ask her.” His head motions your way. His move made Enzo turn his smirking face toward you.
“May I dance with you, chiquita?” It didn’t take long for Enzo to get a response—
“Yeah, okay!”
The excitement on your face was altogether apparent. If anybody were to see you, the first thing they would ask is if your cheeks don’t hurt from the muscles being tugged. Enzo pulled you into the filled floor, bodies pinning onto each other, not letting go. As if they were tied, glued together.
“Wanna give your boyfriend a show?” Enzo’s voice hollered through the clamant bellowing music.
“He’s not my boyfriend.” You answered back. At least not yet. You thought.
Your eyes glanced towards the women around, taking on to find a way to start, but they all moved so fast for your rookie moves. You had initiated by placing your hands on Enzo’s shoulders but he shook his head with a jokingly frown. He positioned your hands around his neck, and he took his, to your waist. There was a blunt pull that made you bump into his chest delivering a small gasp from your vocals.
“I’ll apologize in advance if I step on your toes. I’m not a good dancer.” You enunciate. There was no need to yell, the two of you were dangerously close.
“It’s okay, princesa. Practicing makes perfect.” He shoots you a wink. All these nicknames were making you flustered, you weren’t used to them. “The key is on the hips. You have to let go, sway.” He demonstrates with his.
You tried moving them. But in Enzo’s point of view, you were doing too much, and you could see it on his face. “I-” was the opening of your sentence, but he cut you off.
“Can I?” He had his hands placed on you already, he just wanted to make sure you were comfortable with him moving them around more.
After you delivered a nod, a sound came out of you, once again. He had turned you around, for your back to face his chest, and he had his hands extending for more space, trying to locate them at the perfect spot. “You don’t wanna think about it much.” His breath hits you on the back of the part that connects your neck and shoulder.
You felt how he began to move your hips from side to side. Definitely smoother than you previously were. “Move them with me, just a little.” He indicates.
You tried not to overdo it, to still leave it to him. You moved slowly, and your hands would softly touch his forearms from how he had them placed. With your head turned towards his chest there wasn’t a moment where his breath wasn’t hitting you. He drove the both of you front and back still shifting your hips.
“Mind if we add a few spins?”
You shake your head in a “No” manner. The minute he moved away you felt as if you could breathe correctly again, as if you had been holding your breath with how close you were to him.
With his hand connected with yours he raised it above your head to give you a spin, and another, and another after he switched positions. “You’re still gonna spin towards me on this one.” He indicates making you nod quickly, like if you were afraid to miss anything. His hand was now extended between the two of you.
There was the nod, that said it was your cue. When you turned, your other hand hung around his neck, with heavy breathing. No wonder they sweat so much, so many movements. There was a part when he had his hand on your lower back, bending you back with his body hovering over yours.
Oh boy.
His lips were so close to yours. He had his eyes scanning every feature of your face as if he was taking advantage of the close-up he was granted. Feeling the way his hand traveled from your waist to your thigh had you gripping him, and even more when he raised it towards his side.
“Part of the dance, America.” He says. You guessed he had noticed the face expression you had on, and he liked it.
It wasn’t always that a woman would get Enzo’s attention. Yeah, he would dance with many, but that was it, and the fact that he had the pleasure of teaching you basics was even better.
A hum was all you let out. You didn’t trust yourself with words during this point, at any moment your voice could crack and the embarrassment was not going to happen.
“Why don’t you touch me?” Your eyes go wide at his words.
Was he serious right now?
“Excuse me?” A furrow is delivered from brows, confused.
“Not like that.” He laughs. “You gotta set loose, put your hands on me, move them around.”
So that's what he meant. Your cheeks were tinted red from both embarrassment and the lack of air from the humidity in the room, face was flushed. And Enzo’s hair was getting damped from the sweat, a few strands sticking to his forehead.
He had turned you around again, using his hands to move yours towards his face. Your fingers brushed his jawline, and slowly later moved to touch his cheek.
“Just like that.” You could feel the smirk on his lips as they rested right next to your ear.
You were so concentrated with him, that you didn’t feel any of the other people around you, as if the heat was only coming from the both of you. The colors of the lights were dimmed, giving it a more vibey style.
“Are we ready to go?” Oh, Nick. His voice came out grimacing.
“Oh um, yeah.” You pulled away from Enzo, gifting him a small smile. So he did the same.
“Why so early, bro?” There was that smirk again.
“We just have other things to do, bro.” Nick gives Enzo a sardonic smile that he gladly returns with no shame.
“Okay! Bro’s.” You add, turning over to Nick and patting him on the chest to walk it over. This was a scene that you did not need to happen.
“Oh come on, we were having a good time!” Enzo digs, he wants to play with fire. “Are you scared I’ll steal her from you?” He was taunting it.
Nick laughed. Laughed at the situation, and laughed at Enzo. “Not a chance.”
Nick thought he had you under control, with how much your family and his family made together, you wouldn’t leave him for someone like Enzo.
“Okay, guys, stop. Nick, let’s go.” Your words followed a gentle push that made him stumble backward. “Enzo, thank you for the dance. It was... amazing.” And for him, there was a smile. Nothing more.
Enzo let out a small tsk sound squinting his eye. “Cuando quieras chiquita.” His words made you smile, and he later realized you didn’t know what he had just said. “It was a pleasure.” He puts his hand on his chest.
Walking away with Nick, there was your hand grabbing him by the arm ready to get out of the club. There was the smile that you tried to get rid of but couldn’t, something about Enzo and the way the both of you danced had magic in it. The beauty of it is that you wanted to continue to try, but couldn’t for obvious reasons.
Enzo kept an eye on as your figure ambled out of the Havana Club, the cheeky smirk still on his face. Oh, how he loved this moment. Enzo was a flirt, everyone knew that. He was never afraid of showing how he felt, or his actions. And knowing that he had gotten under your not-boyfriend’s skin, made him feel even better.

There always had to be something. Something wandering in your mind that would make you overthink, always having you on the edge. And even more, if you had a secret relationship with a man that everyone wanted to be with. While you couldn't even hug, kiss, or appreciate him in public.
Relationships in secret can cause fights, trust issues, anything.
“¡Cuantas veces te tengo que decir que entre Malena y yo no hay nada!” Enzo’s voice hollered through the hallway of your house.
Enzo and you had been bickering back and forth about what had been going on between his comment section with Malena. So many comments, she would comment more on your boyfriend’s post than hers, you would think, with the jealousy that would poison your mind. You had given him the silence treatment but it all fell apart when he continued to ask you what was going on with you.
“Ay, por Dios, Enzo.” You pinched the bridge of your nose with a furrow. “Se ve que le gustas a la hija de—” You eliminate your words not wanting to go far with them. Your fists balled with a sigh.
“¡No digas estupideces! ¡Ella está con Matías, carajo!” There was rage in his voice, veins popping on his forehead, if it was possible to pop it with a pin, it would.
The room was hot, with the amount of screaming between the two. You were lucky all the windows were closed, if not the neighbors would’ve gotten a sound of it. No matter how much you tried to control the anger it would grow and grow, and with it, the tears that you felt were gonna come soon. The tears of anger and frustration.
“No tenemos nada.” Enzo’s words are repeated, once more. In a way to leave it evident.
“No te creo.” There was a small smile where all you could see was the corners of your lips raised. A sarcastic smile. “¿No crees que no vi un vídeo de ti con ella después de Los Goya?” You dared, by getting closer to him and pointing him in the chest.
“Estábamos charlando.” He gritted through his teeth.
It was devastating that you couldn’t trust your boyfriend. The idea of him cheating would boil your blood, and break you at the same time into millions. The feeling of a tornado inside of you that would quickly get out and take over everything in the relationship, you were afraid of that. As much as the problem was the both of you having the relation a secret, you would blame yourself for it, for exploding.
“Créeme nena.” Enzo’s hands tried to reach for you, but you drove him away not wanting to have him near you.
“Ya te dije, no te puedo creer.” You looked him in the eyes. Anger is full on them. “Como me pides que te crea si tenemos la relación en secreto ¿Ah?”
“Sabes que yo quería mantenerla los primeros meses por tu bien.” His anger was rising again.
His body figure walked towards you making you walk backwards, but the roles were switched after you started to speak—
“No me jodas, de seguro se te hace más fácil mantenerla en secreto para poder irte con otra chica.” Oh, your words were pushing it. With the anger that was blinding you, you weren’t calculating your words.
“¿Me estás jodiendo verdad? ¿Te estás escuchando? ¡Me estás acusando sobre algo que no es!” His finger went towards his ears in a motion.
“Tendría lógica, Enzo.” You whisper swallowing the lump. “Soy un secreto, ¿es más fácil así no?” You gift him a dead smirk, with the tears that were forming in the corners of your eyes.
“Nena, no llores por favor.” He decided to pay no attention to your previous comments and focused on the tears that were running down your cheeks.
“No, Enzo.” You decided to leave the sentimental aside and wipe the tears. “Será mejor que te vallas.”
You turned around to walk towards the entrance of your house, not even bothering to turn around to see if Enzo followed. You knew he was because you could feel his atmosphere behind you.
“Nena—” He called, but you didn’t stop. “¡Nena! ¡Dejame explicarte por favor!” Still no stopping.
The door swung open and you made a motion with your hand “Vete.” Enzo looked between you and the door, if you thought he would leave without fixing this, you were so wrong.
With his hand, he slammed the door closed making you furrow your brows in anger and ready to protest, but his short words left you silent. “Te sentas.” He points towards the couch.
You knew Enzo, nothing that you would do would make him alter his decision of not leaving. So the better answer was for you to walk over towards that couch, and sit even if you huffed in anger. The silence cried loud in the room, an uncomfortable silence that you didn’t know how to get rid of. By this time your anger was cooling off and you didn’t know how to apologize, but you wanted to. You guessed you were simply afraid of saying it.
And deep inside, you knew, that Enzo wasn’t cheating on you, but the games the mind would play and have you second thinking was what was burning you, and with you, Enzo, and the relationship.
Your body flinched at the contact of Enzo’s fingertips touching your knee, it brought you out of your zone, paying attention to how Enzo kneeled in front of you.
You didn’t realize what you said, not until you did, still being in the zone. “¿Me amas todavía?”
Enzo’s eyes were glued on you, hands still on your knees, but they traveled to your face to hold you. “No hay ningún día en que mi amor por vos no crezca.”
Some sniffles came from you. The tears began falling onto your cheeks but Enzo’s thumbs were doing the favor of wiping them away. Your voice hurt when you spoke. “Perdón por dudar de ti. Es que— se me hace difícil, no te puedo tocar, besar, o tan siquiera salir a tomar un estupido cafe y al ver que otra chica al reír posa sus manos sobre tus hombros o se ve muy juntita a ti me hace pensar que tal ves puedas estar con ella a escondidas, o como con los comentarios de Malena. Los celos hacen olvidarme que tú no eres así.”
“Lo se.” He gifted you a smile. He didn’t want to say much right now, he wanted you to let it out, let you speak how you felt.
But you felt rued, you didn't deserve someone like Enzo. No matter how much you would fuck up or say the most hurtful things, he knew you wouldn’t mean it. Because he knew you.
“Perdón por todo esto, por todo lo que dije. Y perdóname si te lastime, por favor. Todo esto es solo es en mi cabeza.” You took his hands off your cheeks and wrapped them in yours.
“No pasa nada, bonita. Perdóname vos a mí, por querer mantener la relación en secreto. Pensé que te estaba haciendo un bien y solo resultó haciéndote un mal.” He kept his eyes down on your interlocked hands. “Pero ya no más, no te pienso ocultar más. Me di cuenta que no importa cuanto trate de protegerte siempre va a pasar algo. Pero por lo menos estaré yo ahí para poder ayudarte, y que sepas vos que lo que digan no es verdad.”
The first smile after hours, finally grows on your face. The toxin was finally being replaced with the medicine that Enzo would give you, happiness.
“¿En serio?” Your voice was soft, barely hearable.
“Sí.” Enzo smiled with a soft squeeze from his hands. “Es muy cobarde de mi parte ocultar a una persona tan maravillosa como vos, chiquita.” He took his hand back to your cheek, placing a few strands of hair behind your ear.
“¿Te puedo pedir algo?” Your breath fell hot onto his hand that was close to your lips.
“Lo que sea.” A nod was delivered to you after his words.
“Dime que todavía eres mío, y que vamos a estar bien.” Your eyes were glistening, and they had a soft look compared to the previous sore ones.
Enzo got closer to you smiling before he spoke, “Soy tuyo, y vamos a estar bien. Sea lo que sea, pase lo que pase.” He kisses your knuckles, with the other hand that is still holding yours, not sure if you are ready at the moment for a peck. He didn’t want to push the limit.
You felt better knowing Enzo and you would finally make your relationship public. It was exciting at first, having a secret. Having the secret rendezvous, not telling anyone where the both of you would head to. Of course, with time it became a tad exhausting for you, but you would never tell Enzo anything.
So yeah, you were excited to finally make it public, and so was Enzo. Finally able to see everything, together.
