So.. I have not touched this blog in like 2-3 years, mainly due to that I got promoted at work, and had very little time for personal activities. Now Ive been promoted again, and got somewhat more time. (yeah, figure that one out.. hehe)

I will continue to write about thing that I find interesting, both gamer related and non.

Its funny.. I am a (non-us but western culture) male in his mid 30’s, I have a wife, kid, dog, house mortage and all that. But I also play games. I also fucked up this by replying to Rubi_ (sorry mrs. Bayer ;).

I am just getting into wrapping my brain around whats going on with gamergate. I feel kinda like this concerns me, but the real battle is raging among US situated sides, so I kinda feel like Im watching this from the sidelines.

Yes, I do belive there are corruption in the gaming industry, but where did the sexism and racial issues come from? As this writeup by Rubi says, gamergate has been polluted from and by both sides. This thing has completely spun out of control and are now carried on by extremists on both sides.

Gamergate, please, [A]bort or [R]etry.

Playing Torchlight II closed beta today. Man this one addictive and fun one. Its like Diablo 3, only it's less fire, hell and brimstone. It's also abit more casual and less mainstream, that suits me well. Fun fun fun!

Trying out the Norwegian MMO The Secret World this weekend. Logged in a few hours last night, and gonna try it some more later today.. As expected from Funcom, its like Anarchy Online had a baby with Conan.

On the upside, it's a mmo very much directed at a more adult and mature group of players than mmo's most.
