SILENT STORM

The weight of exhaustion, too heavy to bear,Loneliness lingers, thick in the air.Desperate to rise, to reach something high,But empty hands grasp only the sky.

Thoughts swirl and tear my spirit apart,Overthinking slowly devours my heart.I don’t know the way, I don’t see the light,Just shadows and echoes haunting the night.

These tear-filled eyes long only for rest,A moment of peace, a quiet breath.This racing mind pleads to be still,No more climbing an endless hill.

Now, my soul yearns for a deep, soft sleep,A silent place where it can finally weep.Not to give up, but to pause, to mend,To find some strength, and begin again.
