His energy was different, that was true, and he was of the living. But ever since Kurosaki had shaken things up, it did not trouble her to speak with those that were receptive to reitsu. This boy clearly had seen odder things in his life, he didn’t seem to be questioning her appearance or purpose much, even down to the sword at her back.
“If you can’t sense it, then I’ll just have to go---”
And there it was, that terrible noise. A burst of energy so strong it was like a scream. Wordlessly, she darted off towards its source. If the boy followed, it was none of her concern. If he got in her way, he would find himself passed out on the sidelines soon enough.
