I don’t think so. It’s not something I’ve done before and I’ve only just gotten back into drawing/posting again after a long period of inactivity. Unfortunately, work takes up most of my time these days (I have more time than I did in grad school though haha) which is why most of my stuff is quicker. Definitely trying to draw more just generally speaking but I tend to restrict myself towards ocs and content I get fixated on. I think I’d honestly have a tough time with artfight so props to people who do participate

Dude your project hail mary art is so good, im in loveee with how you use colour, its so present but not overpowering. I'm a costume/set design student, but was chosen for my sewing expeerience and not drawing (did not draw until i started uni two years ago eughghg) do you have any tips on....well, drawing in general? do you follow a practice routine, do any warmups, any good resources? keep rocking!!! fantastic shit.

Costume and set design sounds very cool.

As for tips, I like figure drawing and drawing/painting from reference. I generally just use Pinterest or nude photo reference sites. I try to draw or paint from life as often as I can, but that’s generally not possible for figure drawings for me. I don’t really post stuff like that so I’ve attached a couple of older examples of what I like to do for practice exercises. I don’t really have a specific routine or anything and I’m probably not the person to follow for advice. I applied to art school, got in, and then decided to be an engineer instead lol. The best I can say is try to keep a sketchbook and practice as much as you can.

Have you watched the backrooms movie? I feel like you'd like it

Not yet,,, I’m definitely interested in it but it’s kinda hard to get me to go and actually see a movie. I only saw/read phm because I had a friend Really into the book who forced me to come with her when it opened in theaters. I think I’ll watch it at some point (I really like some of the art I’ve been seeing come out of it and I was already familiar with the “lore”) but unless I can get someone to go with me, it might be a while
