HailMary saves a lock of Blip-A's hair. like victorian era style, makes it into a rememberence mourning locket or bracelet

(irl Rocky carefully chipped off a bit frm the ship, and used that xenonite to patch up Mary's hull. braided those silver strands extra pretty on that side)

now a comic where after years (?) of experimentation and planning by eridian society + one grace, they are able to retrieve blip a and reunite them with mary!!! (if you’re up to that at any point)

I’ve also thought about this in general. logically it depends on just WHAT rocky would bring with them from blip a but im pretty sure they would want to check it out for themselves anyway. it’s not DESTROYED, it’s just kinda. run out of petrol.

mary waits and waits while they are very slowly repaired with eridian counterparts what with all the damage they took on the mission, with the goal to make them last long enough to possibly get back to earth someday. but they’re not thinking about that, in fact it’s pretty much a background goal, their PRIMARY goal is to get back to their first love, their first contact, someway, somehow.

So do you think they'll repair Blip A in space like taking things there with them in other ships? And Mary is always there each time like they are on a little date

If you'd asked me this a few years ago I'd have said yes but rn I don't think I have the time or the energy to commit to longer projects unfortunately

I did plan a comic with Grace and Rocky talking about dreams but it's still in my drafts I got kinda distracted with other things

However, a lot of people have made great stuff about Grace's post canon life, you should definitely take a look <3

Blip A watching Grace pilot Mary into Adrian's atmosphere, simultaneously admiring how beautiful she looks lit up like that but also worried because she knows if it goes wrong they'd all die and she'd be more alone than ever before.

idk why but the first time I saw blipmary I thought of the tunnel grace and rocky meet in and assumed that the equivalent of that was blipmary kissing for like a decade straight and yeah idk i wanted to share past me thoughts

Do you have any voice hcs for Mary and Blip-A? In my mind Blip-A has a deeper, refined voice, and Mary has a southern accent…

I agree, Blip A definitely has a refined voice for sure, maybe something like Tilda Swinton or Meryl Streep ( @emhidesart suggetion)

Also the bollywood actresses Rekha, her voice fits well too

The voice of Mary, Priya, is perfect already, a different accent could be fun tho.
