i think its a very popular belief that as a vegan you are much more limited to what you can eat, but i feel that it’s really quite the opposite; i think going vegan actually opened my eyes in terms of what i can eat. i know for a fact that i eat a more diverse diet now than i ever had as a meat eater—and not only that, but i am so much more conscious of what i’m eating and putting into my body, which in turn forces me to branch out and find new foods, and new alternatives to foods that i have previously loved.
