For those who have no idea what cyclocross is. Here's an old photo I grabbed somewhere.

I did convert my MTB to a "Hybrid" by swapping the 26 x 2.1 knobby to a 26 x 1.5 slick. Changed the suspension fork to an aluminum rigid.

Quite fast on the road. Slippery on dirt paths. Lowered the head tube angle and the overall height (due to the tire size).

Not quite what I expected. That's why I'm going the gravel bike route.
