“If I wanted your help, I would have asked for it. Just wanted to make sure you didn’t kill yourself because of it, or make a bigger mess, could go either way really.”
“You’ve got a point there. What were you trying to make, anyways?”

“If I wanted your help, I would have asked for it. Just wanted to make sure you didn’t kill yourself because of it, or make a bigger mess, could go either way really.”
“You’ve got a point there. What were you trying to make, anyways?”
“It’s not my place to judge. So tell me when it started.”
“I was twelve, I think. It’s a bit of a blur. The only thing I remember clearly is my heart was beating really fast and my head was killing me. And I remember that it stopped when I stole something.”
“Oh, crap. Do I really?” Ziv wiped at her mouth, slightly embarrassed.
“It’s cool. It happens to the worst of us.”
She shook her head firmly, she didn’t want anyone else to see her like this. She just wanted to wait for it to pass and then pretend like it never happened. She wiped at her rapidly falling tears in a vain attempt at quelling them.
She ran a hand through her hair, blowing out a breath. “Okay, do you want me to go?” She asks, willing herself not to put her hand on the girl’s shoulder in an act of comfort.
“Spinning chairs? Are there any around here? Oh my goodness, it sounds so fun!”
“There’s one over there. Go wild, kiddo.”
Looking at the bag, and then back up at the person sitting in front of her, she asked, “What’s in it?”
“I dunno, I didn’t open it. I was practising my restraint skills.”
“If it’s that bad you could have some of mine. SOME. I do still need that, to live and stuff.”
“Thank you. I only really need a little. It’s been too long since I’ve fed...”
“That’s true. What would you like today?”
“The usual. Cookies and juice please.”
Her whole body is twitching and she feels weak. She hasn’t feed in weeks, and she fears she’s going to die soon if she doesn’t. She’s lurking around, clinging to walls for support. “I need blood. NOW.”
“What? Why are you staring at me?”
“You got something on your lip.”
“Yes, hi. What the HELL can I help you with, now that you’ve interrupted my phone call?”
She sat, pulling out a small black bag and setting it on the woman’s desk. “I found this in the halls. Figured somebody needed to see it.”
“I am on my BREAK. Surely you can go find another nurse to help you with whatever you need?”
“I could, but you give out the best snacks.”
“I don’t think I’m supposed to feel this dizzy while I’m sitting down, but it’s kinda fun.”
“If you like that, you should try spinning chairs. They’re much more fun.”
“Okay - So regarding the crazy ridiculous mess in the kitchen. I may have possibly tried to make a milkshake, and I may have possibly accidentally forgot to put the lid on the blender. Possibly.”
“I’m not cleaning that up.”
“Would you like to discuss that?”
“As long as you don’t judge me, sure.”
She shook her head, curling herself up tighter. This girl wasn’t real, she couldn’t be real.
“Hey, it's okay, kid. Is there anything I can do to help? Do you need some water? Or do you want me to go get a doctor or a nurse?”
