Something like art from my fav fanfic on ao3 "The Entire History of Human Desire," because there was a very similar dialogue, but I don't quite remember what they were wearing (the most I remember is the Snowball timeline)
Well is just stonathan angst sorry no
my babies
Stonathan endgame
Kind-of-tutorial/art process explanation best I can.
1. For the first step I just sketch out/block in what I want the poses of my subjects to be
I don’t draw facial features or anything at this stage.
2. I sketch over that and draw things like facial features and start refining my shapes
Things like hands and stuff look wonky at this stage but bear with me.
3. Cleanup and final sketch/lineart. I paint over it in the end anyway so it being perfect is not a concern for me.
4. Start with my underpaint. This is where I map out the values in my drawing. This is optional but it helps me pick my colors.
5. Block colors over underpaint. I will make a separate post about how I choose my colors. There are a few ways I like to do it.
6. This is where I start with patterns and stuff. I block in the most major details of faces and clothes. I start giving more texture to skin and fabric. I don’t work much on hair at this point. The face is something I work the most on last.
7. More rendering. I work on hair and some more details like faces, mostly eyes and lips. I have presets for for certain textures/patterns like denim and flannel or fur, like on Jonathan’s jacket. It’s also at this point I’ve painted over or erased my sketch/lineart.
8. This is the final stage of rendering. This is personal to every drawing. I don’t know how to explain the literal technical aspect of how I refine my drawings to finish other than lots of time and well placed textures. You can draw all of them yourself but I like to engage in some photo bashing and clip a png denim texture I’ve painted over to things like the jacket. I use dry round brush for things like blood.
Then I add a filter or watermark. Usually grainy and soft light or something like midnight.

Season so ridiculous, Stonathan is now more canon than Byler.
