For hundreds of years the relationships between gargoyles and humans have always been and up and down motion, there were times of peace and togetherness and times of hatred and bloodshed. However during a great war between the two, a spell cast from an unknown being cursed the gargoyles to be turned into stone, and the only way to reawake them would be for the stone statues to be struck by a bolt of lightning. As time passed on, the human race had begun to forget that the gargoyle race had ever existed, and continued to develop and move on.
However, gargoyles did not become extinct, as years passed,more and more became reawakened though they had no idea how to reawaken others as once one was stricken by lightning they would become dizzy and confused to the point they could not remember their past.
In present day, the human race in Carbon City, originally a huge gargoyle centre of the past, have become used to the reawakened race, many letting them live among them as fellow citizens of the city. Many gargoyles have adapted to modern society, getting jobs and owning homes just like anyone else.
However, not everything is peaceful among the two races, while some humans are prejudice against the gargoyles, and some gargoyles feel that the humans have taken what is rightfully there, tension builds. Both humans and gargoyles form groups, some for segregation among the species while others want to support integration.
Will you be apart of and help create the next war or will you try to gain peace among the two races? Wether you are good or bad, or gargoyle or human, it is up to you!
