Set inland from the sea by a short boat ride down the river, Briarshore was once a decently sized fishing town.
250 years ago, all of its residents died a mysterious death.
The cause is rumored to be many things. Plague, famine, storms, or even an unfortunate fire that swallowed the town and its residents whole.
Some believe that it was a massacre, by some occult creature…
Now, mysteriously, 13 people have found themselves together in Briarshore all at once… and they have found themselves trapped.
Exploration shows the ruins of a castle or manor—though it's too old to be sure which—and an odd, ashen forest.
The world around the town hides many secrets, magic and occult, and unbeknownst to the others, some of these new Briarshore residents may be hiding secrets as well…
The new residents of Briarshore must familiarize themselves with all the magic of the land, whether blessing or curse, if they hope to survive and earn their freedom.

The avian turned with shock in his expression as he folded his arms over each other. "..Oh my god." He breathed, eyes wide as they locked onto Mumbo. "No way."
☆ The swaying tail of the hero stiffened as he whipped his head around to look at the vigilante, the plastic fork he’d gotten with his takeout box still in his mouth. The avian walked forward. "You already heard me say it earlier. You owe me an explanation." He demanded, arms crossing as he circled around to stand in front of the blaze.

Grian's eye is on the left upper half, Scar's is on the lower right, with their hero/vigilante symbols on the corners :3 Fun fact: all the colors (besides yellow) are ones associated with their eyes and costumes :p
HotGuy has a moon background and CuteGuy has a sun background, as representation of their low/high energy (and also bc Grian's eyes are like morning/noon skies, and HotGuy's colors are more sunset/evening skies)!!

Staring at your art again to try and notice all the lil details omg, I love how the surrounding background(?) is seemingly split into four, with the sun, earth, stars, and are those clouds?

Btw I've been reading the comments you left on my story and I'm so happy you're noticing the little things!! I'm really trying to work on implementing certain details into my writing and I'm so glad that it's translating
