After very little begging on my part, the legendary Gregg Mayles of Rare Ltd. finally shared the contents of the crazy elusive pre-DKC pitch book called Donkey Kong vs Super Wario!

Apparently Wario went full out, time traveling villain and turns Mario to stone!

What a fantastic treat! It was after this pitch that Nintendo requested a series of brand new baddies for DK to fight and King K. Rool and the Kremlings were born! What a crazy piece of history!
