Tradfems have the opinions they do because they are traumatized. Their backwards thinking is not their fault, it's a dysfunctional system that was probably introduced to them during childhood. The things they say can be harmful to impressionable people, so I want to warn all minors to stay off of the tradfem and anti feminism tags. As for the tradfems themselves, please consider that your point of view may be wrong--you are not inferior, and you are more than a housewife. You may think there's all the joy you need in that, but I promise it's not going to work out. Why Steve Toussaint's casting as Corlys Velaryon doesn't bother me!
Personally, I am not one to randomly race swap characters in the name of representation, especially when it's unrealistic. So when I first watched Houde of the Dragon (before watching GoT, big mistake!!) I was angered because no one from Westeros is ethnically Black. This is canon. But once I payed a tiny bit of attention to the show, I learned that House Velaryon is from Essos, not Westeros. That makes the Velaryon race swap as inconsequential as swapping hair colors. It's believable, and it makes sense. Anyone who still protests Steve Toussaint's casting is simply racist and can't hide behind "but it's unrealistic in-universe!!"
