Finished my first art fight attack of the year a week ago!

Dahlia is an Alastor yume too. It funny finding someone else who also has a doe oc ^v^. I picked for the color pallette because I feel like this color combo feels rare for a hazbin oc. I lowkey made look like those old photos you put in a locket, or, like, a photo you look at before dying at war lmao. The kinda photo Alastor would look at before the exorcist fight XD.

I ended up experimenting with a bunch of lineart effects and lasso tool to color faster. I lowkey feel stupid for not trying it sooner because I assumed it'd take the same amount of time as coloring by hand XD. Its definitely gonna speed up my process a ton at least.

I've been working on my next attack. It includes a background so that one will likely take more time. But it is another Alastor yume ^v^. Highkey, I'm probably gonna be attacking other yumes for the most part. I might post some Alastor/Akira headcanons in the meantime. I've been writing some small things whenever I think of a fun little tidbits for them.

I did eventually finish Alastor's ref sheet lmao. I gotta admit, after all the prep I did for Akira's artfight profile, I lowkey dragged my feet for a lot of Alastor's prep stuff.

I do like this version of Alastor I made compared to last year's redesign though. I kept a few aspects of his old redesign, but I pretty much changed most of it. Especially his ear placement because it looked lowkey cursed how I did it last year XD. My favourite small thing I added was giving his shoes spats. I took inspo from Alice Madness Returns on that one XD. I also added a deer tail ref this year! I was planning to last year, but by the time I actually remembered, it was the middle of artfight.

Hello! I finished my artfight card for this year. I decided to choose team mystery because I thought it fit Alastor and Akira best (plus its black and red lmao.)

Like last year, I gave Akira another alternative outfit sheet for artfight. Though, for this year, I got carried away and made two ^v^. You'll probably have to click on it to see it better.

Some of these are outfits I already sketched out months ago like her formal outfit and her nightgown that is gonna be in the second ref sheet. A lot of them were just outfits I just sketched out all in one day XD. Its so fun designing outfits for her honestly.

Updated Akira's ref sheet for artfight this year! After making her expression sheet, her old ref looked outdated to how I draw her now so I made a new one. Its a lot less stylized compared to her old ref sheet, but I kinda like it makes referencing her a lot easier now than before. I feel like I'm starting to learn how to keep her more consistent art-wise than before.

I also updated my art fight sheet for her! Its almost done aside from the pfp itself, which I want to fully complete after the themes come out so it can match it ^v^.

I juuust realized my tumblr totally glitched out and never posted this somehow despite it being scheduled all the way back in December. My bad XD.

I gave Akira her own room in the hotel. Honestly I had a lot of fun figuring out her writing through her living space. I jam-packed it with a ton of details, like how her closet and shoe rack include her actual alternative outfits. She has a ukulele out, but I imagine she also has a keyboard hidden in her closet (she's too embarrassed to play it around others because everyone is so good with instruments like piano.) One of her pinned bugs is a cockroach. I imagine her old apartment pre-hotel was infested and after getting rid of them, pinned the last one as revenge (she is a little unhinged lmao.) I had to debate if she'd have a radio because they usually include silver components, but I imagine Akira uses her telekinesis to get around that like the rest of her tech in her room. I decided she would have likely gotten herself a radio after 'stayed gone,' mainly for the drama because she can be a gossip lowkey lmao.

I couldn't show it, but she definitely has a broom hung on the wall over her doorway and selenite on each door frame. I imagine Nifty might try using the broom to clean at some point and Akira having to frantically explain why she shouldn't use it XD.

But yea, that's her room. Hope you like the art ^^.

I can't believe two separate people asked to draw fanart of my oc ^v^!! She looks so cute in this one too, like, that's my girllll. Its also cool seeing how other people draw her tbh. I love seeing everyone's yumeships too, especially the Alastor ones because they're always so cute.

This makes want to draw people's yumes lowkey but I'm trying to work on artfight stuff a little early so I might have to wait till artfight to do so. Hopefully a lot of Alastor yumeshippers will also be on art fight ^v^.

Okay, well, this took me some time (insomnia helped lots) but I managed to finish it! I also made another ship chart. This time I used this one because it feels like the one everyone uses. I decided to make the pictures be how they'd draw eachother because I thought it'd be silly. I really need to make a meme drawing based on their reactions to how they draw eachother XD.

I made another background drawing! After a made the first doodle one of my friends wanted a tutorial on the trees so I showed her how and made this out of it. Honestly I was definitely inspired from the scene with Bambi after his mom dies and the 101 dalmation winter scenes. It was actually pretty fun painting a fawn, but I'm definitely better at drawing deer than when I made this originally.
