Steve and Buck are excited, though ‘cause they said the last time they had a decent snow at Thanksgiving it was in France and they were being shelled. Also, Buck knitted a bunch of sweaters and he wants to make sure they fit. Steve says he’s already made like six pies and put them in the freezer. I hope he makes those apple dumplings he did for your birthday. I still haven’t gotten over those.”

Phil’s gonna try and stop by if he can. Thor says he’s bringing us a boar’s head, but Mom doesn’t want him to.”

"Our son decided he wanted to make a masterpiece on the kitchen wall," Andie said, looking up at Steve with an amused smile. "It got me thinking about maybe repainting the wall with chalk paint so he can draw without me having to punish him."

“Not the good oil paints, I hope.” They always took things in good humored stride when it came to the little oops and mess moments of parenting, given how desperate they had been to have a child in the first place. They always redirected the toddler energy somewhere safe rather than berating the little artist for his misdirected energies. He took a bite of an apple and sighed quietly. “Yeah. Been meaning to do something with him lately, I know I haven’t been around much. We haven’t gotten our art time in a couple weeks.”

Back and missing my boys more than ever. I enjoyed playing with Sam’s characterization but I’m going back to his first backstory because I miss all my partners and storylines I”ve built. Toss some asks because I’ve missed Steve so much.

Why am I even on here anymore. I'm so drained I can't even care about my characters anymore even though I miss them and keep thinking about bringing back Steve to this blog too and reverting sam back o the original backstory but I'm,,, not finding that I think people would care

I'm so tired. Two nights of not sleeping well because the AC is busted and maybe fixed today. If it's fixed when I get home I'm definitely crashing for an hour or two in a pre dinner nap and then going to get the groceries

First week in the dishwasher is still broken the AC unit is being fixed and now I have wasps in the patio and my plants are dying

It's going great so far

Anyway I miss you guys but I'm slowly but surely making progress overall. It's a huge huge step being out of my parents house and an hour away where they can't easily drop in and without them having a key
