ripping me wide open

vulnerable layers spill

feral, yet taming

light, which breaks through the darkness

pulling every portion out of the shadows

caressing each pore euphorically

not only touching flesh

but fully embracing bare bones

a hurricane in my heart

coursing through my veins so hard

I stay weak in the knees

blood pulsing, with every heartbeat

waves of liquid fever

filling every portion, before it can

ever empty

my breath too heavy to catch

the longing travels up and down my spine

sending electric shocks

parching lips and curling toes

as I feel every word, which is imprinted

upon my soul

the grey earth quakes

as senses remain heighten

spiritual and emotional limbs entangle

pressing off the edge

trembling, holding, clenching,aching, throbbing, frenzied, frenetic

avid, flightless

descending

falling deeper

into you
