Starting a Blog Instead of Spiraling
Spiraling? Sounds pretty intense, right? Well for me, it's kind of an opportunity. It's a chance to exercise my brain. Fueled by anxiety and somehow powered by chaotic optimism, my brain treats 3 a.m. like business hours.
I think spiraling comes often with a negative context behind it... like a spiral slide that just goes, well, down. Sometimes it does go down, but more often than not it's more like one of those spiral escalators in Vegas that goes up. I mean one of them does go down, but I have the option to hop right back on to that up escalator.
If you've made it this far, congratulations. You've just experienced what it's like to spend five minutes inside my head.
This blog probably won't be organized. It definitely won't be optimized. It'll wander. It'll occasionally hyperfixate. It'll probably end up talking about random tangents, and even more random tangents of those tangents. But I'm hoping that's part of the fun.
Also, I promise, we'll get to the fun stuff soon.
