Love and Patience
Iāve imagined a relationship with certain individuals so many times, and in those times Iāve 100% felt disappointed facing reality - itās not going to happen. The truth is, we have so many expectations and not enough of an open mind. We demand experiences just to get that feeling of butterflies. The truth is, whatever comes naturally in the future is worth waiting for.Ā
In our time now,Ā āloveā is rushed; Tinder, Coffee Meets Bagels, Match.com all offer the same concept - finding love NOW. The feeling dating sites offer is great, but itās temporary; how can we have a strong feeling about individuals who we donāt fully know and understand?Ā
They say love has its own time, this I now believe. Iām one of them, those who downloaded applications to find someone whoād make me feel special, noticed, and appreciated. Until this past weekend.
I met a person who I conversed with during walks from bars to clubs and vice versa with friends. He wasnāt like any other guy Iāve met before - believe me! - he asked me questions about life, family, goals, dreams, etc, etc! He was my reminder. My reminder that love cannot be rushed, that it has its own timing, that waiting will be worth it because someone out there is waiting for you, too.
