❝ FAIRY TAIL VERSE— The White Tiger of Heaven.
Long before the founding of Fairy Tail, before guilds united mages beneath common banners, there existed a legend whispered across Ishgar.
A legend older than dragons.
Older than history itself.
It spoke of a celestial beast known only as the White Tiger of Heaven.
Ancient texts described the creature as neither dragon, god, nor spirit, but something entirely its own—a divine embodiment of the storm. Its body was said to be forged from living blue lightning, its eyes brighter than the heart of thunderclouds. Wherever it walked, the heavens trembled. Wherever it roared, mountains shook & the skies split apart.
For centuries, people worshipped the White Tiger as a guardian deity.
Then one day, it vanished.
Yet divine power does not simply disappear.
Fragments of the White Tiger's essence scattered throughout the world, hidden within a single bloodline destined to carry its legacy across generations.
Far from the eyes of civilization, deep within the mountains of Ishgar, stood a secluded village known as Kaminari Suhai.
A place untouched by time.
A place governed by fear disguised as faith.
The villagers worshipped the White Tiger under another name—Raiden.
According to sacred scriptures, every hundred years a child bearing the Mark of the Storm would be born. That child would be offered beneath the village's sacred altar as a sacrifice to Raiden.
In return, the storms would protect the village.
Their harvests would flourish.
Their rivers would never dry.
Disease would spare their livestock.
& so, for centuries, the ritual continued.
No one survived long enough to learn the truth.
Then came the hundredth year.
On a night when thunder drowned the mountains & lightning painted the sky white, a child was born.
The moment he entered the world, lightning struck the sacred altar seven times before dawn.
Upon his chest rested a strange birthmark resembling the eye of a tiger.
The elders immediately understood what it meant.
The Storm Child had arrived.
The next sacrifice had been chosen.
Yet from the beginning, Raiden was unlike those who came before him.
As he grew, storms answered his emotions.
Thunder rolled whenever he became angry.
Rain fell when sorrow consumed him.
Blue sparks danced across his skin while he slept.
& during moonless nights, villagers claimed they could see the silhouette of a colossal tiger prowling through the storm clouds overhead.
Fear spread throughout Kaminari Suhai.
The elders declared it an omen.
But to reclaim what belonged to him.
As the appointed night of sacrifice approached, the village prepared the ritual.
The people gathered beneath the sacred altar as generations before them had done.
Then the heavens answered.
A storm unlike any in recorded history descended upon the mountain.
Lightning engulfed the altar.
& before the sacrifice could be completed, the ancient stone structure shattered.
Within the heart of the storm, a forgotten truth finally awakened.
The White Tiger had never demanded sacrifices.
The covenant itself had been a lie.
Long ago, fearful men had rewritten the original scriptures.
The children offered throughout history were never tributes to a hungry god.
Each carried a fragment of the White Tiger's divine soul.
Generation after generation, those fragments were born, sacrificed, & lost.
As the storm raged around him, every fragment scattered across centuries returned to its rightful owner.
The White Tiger did not descend from the heavens.
It emerged from within him.
For Raiden Unmei was never meant to become a sacrifice.
He was the reincarnation of the Storm Sovereign itself.
The last descendant of a forgotten deity.
A living vessel carrying the complete power of the White Tiger of Heaven.
When dawn finally arrived, Kaminari Suhai lay in ruins.
The terrified villagers branded him a monster.
The elders declared him an omen of calamity.
& so the boy fled into the world beyond the mountains.
Hunted by those who once worshipped him.
Pursued by ancient forces eager to claim divine power for themselves.
Thus began the journey of Raiden Unmei—the Storm Child.
A wanderer searching for the truth behind a god history had forgotten.
Years later, during the age of Mavis Vermillion, tales of a mysterious young traveler began spreading throughout Ishgar.
Villagers spoke of thunderstorms that appeared beneath cloudless skies.
Merchants claimed to have witnessed a giant tiger-shaped shadow moving through the heavens.
Entire towns reported hearing distant roars echoing from storm clouds despite clear weather.
Some believed the White Tiger of Heaven had returned.
Others believed a new god walked among mortals.
Few ever saw the wanderer himself.
Fewer still survived long enough to understand what they had witnessed.
For wherever Raiden Unmei traveled, storms followed.
& high above the world, hidden within the thunderheads, the silhouette of a colossal white tiger continued its endless watch over its chosen heir.
because he is the vessel of the White Tiger of Heaven , Raiden himself is a demi god which makes him age much slower than a normal human , he cant live forever like a full god but he has the ability to live up to hundreds possibly even thousands of years.
he is the equivalent of a 19 yr old right now.
