Violet almost spit out her drink laughing. "I was joking. I wasn't saying I was going to sleep with you. Asking if being your friend is a mistake but good to know about the boyfriend thing. I wouldn't want to have him, whoever he is, think the wrong thing." She laughed a bit more then set her drink down. "Oh.. the hangover is a given mistake."

"Really?" She looked down at the jade roller. It didn't look that expensive to her but what did she know. "I mean... I don't think the wrinkles are getting you simply by not using that thing right away."

“It is very important, it’s nice to meet you..” I’m Dr Amelia Shepherd, chief of neurosurgeon at the local hospital..” she said with a nod as she looked over at her and smiled sweetly.

"Oh wow. A neurosurgeon. I'm Kim Burgess your local detective." She smiled. "It's nice to meet you."

"I really appreciate it." She nodded. "Yes, i'm new here. New and confused. I'm Lexie. Nice to meet you."

"i swear it's always when you least expect it that it's the most busy." aria noted. normally she wouldn't have minded all that much, but for once she wanted peace and quiet at a hole in the wall kind of place. "i'm aria. nice to meet you, violet."

"That's how it goes. I'm not mad about it just means I get to.... observe everyone." She laughed. Violet didn't want to say people watch in front of this person she just met. "Nice to meet you."

adam smiled when she said it sounded great. he nodded his head, at the mention of him looking tired. boy that felt like an understatement. he hadn't been sleeping well and he wanted nothing more than to climb into bed. "today has been a long day.. let's just say i'm all ready to climb into bed and pass out for the night. but that will have to wait because there's pizza calling our names."

"What about pizza in bed?" She smirked at him. Kim bit her lip and looked down then back at him. "I mean if you want of course. If not we can be civilized humans and eat at the table." It was late already. The babysitter would have Makayla ready for bed by the time she got home.

"Slightly." She smiled. "Thank you." Violet took another sip of her drink. She had a slightly long day. They had a bunch of calls. Nothing crazy but definitely a rough one.

"I think so." Lexie looked down briefly at her phone and shoved it in her pocket. "This place is..... strange. It's.... i don't know."

"sorry to bother you so early." those were the words that emma started with as she looked at the other, because everyone knew that emma hated to be bothered before ten am and after two pm. so she hated having to bother others. "i guess they need you upstairs for a case. i guess you were the last arresting officer for this guy in question."

"No, it's okay." She waved her off. "Of course they do." Kim sighed. She didn't even have a chance to put her bag down. "Did you hear anything else?"

" i didn't even notice , " tilly admits. she's glad that the other had been the one to find it & not someone who would have taken it – that would've left her with a huge headache later on. she doesn't even want to think about it. " at least i don't have to look for it now. "

"Yeah, now you don't have to spend all day looking for it. Then potentially have to file a police report." Kim shrugged. She was happy to help it meant her coworkers wouldn't have to do more work than they already do.

"Um. Who knows if I'm okay." She shrugged. Lexie tried to shake it off but it all felt strange to her. "Can you help me with the hospital? I'm supposed to start back to work today but I'm not sure if I know the place."

mark could tell the women looked confused, but honestly he wasn't quite sure why? was she someone he had hooked up with in the past and forgot? "yes, i'm mark and you must be? sorry my memory isn't the best with names.."

Lexie felt like she had been punched in the gut. She stumbled backwards and put her hand onto the wall. "I-" She looked at him. "You.... Mark Sloan?" She asked to confirm but it looked just like him. In the flesh. She knew that body. She knew that face. She even knew that little mole he had on his lower back.

"no worries." andy answered back with a soft smile. really being shoulder checked by accident wasn't the worst thing that happened this week anyways. "it's kind of hard not to zone out when things get quiet around here."

"Oh, no. You did not just say those words." Violet groaned and waited for the call to come in. She leaned against the wall preparing.
