I feel as if you have a story to tell. Married? 👰 🤵 And Manchester? (Hometown of my newest hyperfixation) Spill the tea. 🐭
So years ago there was this boy and girl who met online and they fell in love. But he lived in the UK and she lived in the US so it was this really frustrating long distance thing. They spent as much time together as they could, but the distance was really too much. She didn’t want to leave her family. He didn’t want to leave his. And, well, neither was in the position to sponsor a visa, let alone pay for one, and they were inherently immature. So they broke up, not because they fell out of love, but because they wanted each other to have the freedom to have a life. Basically.
Then one early August morning in the year of 2024, she got a message from him asking if she perhaps wanted to attend a concert the next year for a certain band that they bonded over in their previous lives. It was a joke, but they were both incredibly excited about this band getting back together for nostalgia’s sake (but he did actually manage them tickets so yay!). By that August afternoon they had both admitted they regretted everything that happened in the past and by November they eloped and by July she was in the UK.
Are you still in Texas? 😂😂😆 What the hell is going on with you? 🐭
I am not in Texas. I’m not even in the US anymore. Because I got myself married to a British boy.
omg hiii how are you? how’s life ! <3
Hi! I’m actually doing amazing! ♥️ Life is wonderful. How is everyone doing over here on the Tumblr?
Just a normal yearly check in to giggle about people still reading my silly stories 😂
And to say hi if anyone is still around 👋🏼
You know, I’ve been off the meds for a year and I think I need them back because I handle life so much better when I have absolutely no feelings. I mean, does everyone get their feelings hurt so easy or is it just me?
I never read that book. Is it good? What’s next? 🐭
Oh it’s so good. I can say it’s one of my favorites.
We’re moving on to this next. I read it in college but I really enjoyed it so it’s a re-read (but a brand new copy so it’s technically a new book).
I did it. I finished it. I know no one cares but I care so I’m posting this for attention.
“If God were to appear in my room, obviously I would be in awe, but I don't think I would be humble. I might cry, but I think he would dig me like crazy.”
Today would have been this guy’s 76th birthday ♥️
OMG. My little heart. 😍😍😍
baby me, sorting m&ms by color and then into a gradient: now this is how you have fun!
baby me, observing other children eating fistfulls of randomly colored gummy bears all at once: when do i get to go back to my home planet
This might be the funniest reply I’ve ever seen in my life

Have you seen Good Omens 2? I’ve developed an embarrassing obsession with Buddy Holly since I did and now I want to go to Lubbock and see things. Is there a lot of things to see there for him?
First of all, there is nothing wrong with Buddy love. He’s a fucking legend and definitely worth the love.
As far as coming here to see things. I mean, there’s some things to see. The Buddy Holly Center, for one. They have a lot to see in there (even his glasses). It’s really a neat place. There’s his boyhood home. It’s not marked or anything and people live there but you can pass by it. Some murals in town have him on them. His old schools. The Center actually has a map they give out for all of those things which I recommend getting. There’s the plaza in town with a statue of him. And his gravesite, of course.
They definitely don’t overdo it here like in Memphis where you can’t go many places without being reminded of Elvis, you know? They have markers around town explaining things but it’s not all crazy. It’s actually pretty respectful. I was actually talking about that with someone once, how I was kind of surprised they don’t use him for tourism and stuff and I was told that his wife is partly to blame for that because she was kind of greedy (don’t know) but now that she sold his name/image/music rights she doesn’t have much of a say in anything anymore. (Like, I mean… the plaza in town has her name on it too, and that’s kinda meh but whatever).
Now, what I highly is the music studio where he recorded the good stuff over in Clovis, New Mexico (about 2 hours away) that is cool. You have to make an appointment a week out to see it, but if you’re a fan (even just of rock and roll history) it is definitely worth it. It’s kind of like Sun Studio (if you’ve ever been) where time just stopped. Very cool place.
All of this to say: It’ll take you a day to soak it all in, and Lubbock isn’t a bad place (I mean, I haven’t left here yet so that’s something I guess), so come on an visit. Wouldn’t be a wasted trip.
