I still feel like a newbie in a lot of ways, so maybe we'll both be learning some things from each other -- no learning any vocals from you, though. I think I'm sort of a lost cause on the pipes unless it's belting some Adele in the shower, ha. Every language I know, huh? Do you have a preference?

It really is and you did so good on it. Please tell me you become close friends with Garcia? Because she's just the best out of all of them. And yes, I call them by their character names. They did reach out to me too but schedule is too busy to fit that in. Maybe at some point. I'd love to play a killer or something. That would be so cool. You got that right. I never really have a quiet day. Why, are you already second-guessing it? At least you know how to handle me. The date was pretty nice. I knew it was going to be sappy but I liked it. Only you can see that side of me. The wedding was beautiful. You can just see how in love they are with each other. It was nice. And I had the best date of the night.

Close friends? Unfortunately not. Friends? Of course. I make friends everywhere; blame it on my southern charm. I could see you playing someone all calculated and brooding, very mysterious-like in nature. private; You know, I'd like to think I know how to handle you, but I'm sure that there's a lot more for me to learn in that regard, and I'm... excited about it. It was, huh? Sort of got me thinking about what we're going to do come August when we start filming again. Are we telling people anything about us? That we've been going on dates? I like to think that I can clean up rather nicely when needed. I've done it for Oscars and Grammys before. Nothing quite like this, though. Big wedding with superstars everywhere. How're you taking it all in? I've booked a role for a NASCAR show... start filming closer to the end of summer.

Been a wild ride, never thought I'd be doing all these projects. Criminal Minds was super fun, now onto talks of a film... I'm excited but already overwhelmed, I think. NASCAR show? That sounds cool. Is it... fiction? A docuseries? What's the vibe?

People were thinking that the reason why Connor has been seen in Ontario in recent weeks was related to HR. But I suspected that HR pre-production work wouldn't happen until September. So today we learn that Connor is, yet again, working on a new film, and it's starring none other than Billie Eilish in her first acting role, and Oscar-winning director Sarah Polley.

Hudson had to admit that, even after everything, it still didn't feel real. He had been in his own head for months on end, debating on acting on his feelings or not. He just didn't want to ruin a perfect friendship. That's always the case with friends, isn't it? The fear of losing them just because you can't keep your feelings under control. The whole thing with Niall and what it brought on, it had changed his mind on things, especially after seeing what it made Connor do. He knows the truth now, but back then, it confused the hell out of him and even got him annoyed with Harry. It just didn't make much sense. God knows how many sleepless nights he's had back then. Then that one early morning in New York City, he had to do something, had to make his feelings known somehow. Connor seemed to have had the same idea and while his friend spoke about feelings out loud first, Hudson was the one that made the physical move. He had kissed Connor plenty of times before, but that was all in front of a camera. That morning, it was different. It felt different. It's been a few weeks since Hudson has seen Connor so the anticipation was big and maybe he was also curious as to what the other had planned for them. Never in a million years did he expect to go on an actual date with his best friend. As soon as the other arrived, a mischievous smirk formed on his lips. "I've missed you too and truth be told, I just know it was going to be something cheesy. That's just you. If it was going to be something adventurous, I'd be more scared." Hudson raised his brow, still unsure as to what was going to happen but he trusted Connor and knowing him, it'd be something cute. "Are you sure you want to give me free reign on that? I'm very tempted to put Sir Mix-A-Lot on now."

"Nah," Connor scoffed. "You've got adventure written all over you, no doubt. If I'm doing the planning, you know it's going to be more sentimental than scary." He shrugged his shoulders, feigning nonchalance and hopefully not giving off the impression that he'd been overthinking this moment for weeks because he had. The actor rolled his eyes at Hudson's comment, expecting nothing less than for him to counter him in his teasing, bantery way. "I'm sure," Connor nodded. "You don't scare me." Once they'd both settled into his car, Connor extended the aux cord in Hudson's direction. "Whatever you want, Sir Mix-a-Lot or otherwise," he reaffirmed with a sheepish grin.

The drive wasn't too long, filled easily by a variety of music and chatter until the pair reached the location Connor had prepared for them -- a picnic for two at sunset on the bank of the Hudson River, nestled away in privacy but situated in a spot that offered a pristine view. "Here we are," Connor beamed once they'd arrived and parked. He jogged around to Hudson's side of the car to open the door and extend his hand for the other to take. "Like I said, no poking fun at me," he warned as he guided Hudson to the picnic blanket.

i saw something about you directing short films and dropping them on youtube? is that something that you want to do more of? i know the world is excited for the next season of heated rivalry, but being behind the camera can be so fun too. @storrries

Hell yeah, one hundred percent. I feel like I caught the film bug early on in almost every capacity: writing, directing, acting, all of it. I just can't get enough. Super excited to get back to it with HR, though -- I've missed it. That cast is incredible, and we're all so close... some of us physically, obviously, ha, but I'm just really good friends with everybody on the show. You don't get that type of community everywhere.

Connor couldn't help but feel like he'd been losing his mind for the better part of the past several weeks; self-doubt slipped itself beneath the actor's bedroom door most nights, tantalizing him and making him wonder yet again if this had all been a horrendous idea. He and Hudson had kissed plenty of times -- too many to count, in fact -- but never quite like that. Ilya had kissed Shane, but Connor had never kissed Hudson -- and still hadn't, technically, given that Hudson had thankfully made the first move. It was all he'd been thinking about for as long as he could remember, even more so after that sleepy morning in New York City, and certainly was all he could think about now. The drive to Hudson's was brief, yet it crawled on, and Connor found himself drumming his fingertips against the steering wheel nervously until he arrived. Once he was standing opposite Hudson in the doorway, the actor couldn't stop the smile that spread across his features. "I've missed you," Connor sighed, relaxing immediately in his best friend's presence. "You better not give me shit for what I've planned for us today. It's cheesy in what I hope is the best way," he joked, extending his hand hesitantly for Hudson to take. "C'mon, it's only a short drive from here -- and I'm being nice enough to let you have aux and subject me to whatever music you want on our way over there." @hudsonwills

I mostly blame you for being occupied with Melissa McCarthy and then having your Criminal Minds debut. I've just been chillin' in Vancouver. I do believe that's the last time we saw each other. But soon we'll be together again for our little hockey show and then you might regret missing me. Are you serious? You know that I'm pretty high maintenance, right? No, but in all seriousness, I'd love to go on a date with you. I'll make sure I'll clear my entire schedule.

Criminal Minds is, like, bucket list level, dude. I still can't believe that happened. You say 'just chillin' in Vancouver,' but I know better than to think you've just been sitting around doing nothing. Bold of you to assume I'd ever regret missing you, dummy. Yeah, I'm serious. Should I not be serious? Don't make me second-guess it. I obviously know that you're high maintenance; you're my best friend, Huds. Your whole schedule doesn't need to be clear (though I do love the ego stroke, so thank you), but let's say Thursday night? There's a wedding on Saturday, and I'd love to spend the weekend with you and then attend that together, if you're free.
