I really liked Vol 7 but I’m going to have to say Vol 6. I still think some of the best episodes of the series are in Vol 6 (and no it’s not just the bee episodes)
The Vol 7 ost just dropped so right now it’s Touch the Sky. I don’t really have one song I can definitely pick as my all time favorite, there’s too many good ones.
Lionize. I swear it really has nothing to do with the fact it’s Adam’s song. It’s just not really my style of music. The harmonies are ugly and I don’t like the borderline screaming. (The guitar slaps though)
Ugh. I have to choose between Blake and Yang? I can’t! As a character I probably admire Yang the most but there are parts of Blake’s personality that I relate to more. I admire Blake a lot too though. You can probably imagine why my favorite otp is-
I really like platonic Blacksun. I’m not one of those bee shippers who hates Sun. I actually don’t like it when bumbleby or etc shippers drag Sun through the dirt. I think if you like Blake you can dislike Sun but you really can’t hate him because he really did help her. He’s like BFF MVP. Anyway, next to platonic Blacksun I’d have to pick Freezerbros (Weiss & Yang).
In terms of headcanon, I really like the idea of Yang & Sun or Yang & Sun & Neptune. They are best friends in most of my AU fics. I just think they would be the gender neutral equivalent to that “boys will be boys” meme and it’s really fun to write their weird, dumb shenanigans.
Adam/Blake- I don’t even know what their ship name is! Tauradonna? Abusive relationships are a no. Qrow/Yang or Qrow/Ruby or Qrow/ANY of the girls- no. Incest of any kind? No. Rosegarden? That’s a no from me because it’s clear Oscar is becoming Ozpin and Ozpin is a grown ass man AND was Ruby’s principal!
There’s probably wayy more weird ass ships that belong on this list but I don’t know them and hopefully it will stay that way.
Least Favorite Character:
It actually ISN’T Adam because he was always meant to be a villain and as Blake’s villain, I like him.
This question is hard. I think I would have to say Emerald.
- Bumbleby affection. They don’t have to kiss (though I’ll be screaming in joy if they do) but they do need to have an intimate conversation AT THE LEAST.
-More Ruby/Yang development. Specifically, I feel like they need to have a conversation about Summer after everything that has happened but, they just need to talk about some things period.
-Higher stakes. Basically I want shit to go down. Obviously, I don’t want anyone to die or get hurt as badly as Yang did when she lost her arm for example, but I do want to feel like the stakes are high. I do want to feel like things are dire for a moment. If they get out of this scotch free then it will just seem unrealistic and kind of lame.
-Penny and Pietro live. Why did they go through so much trouble explaining that Pietro wouldn’t be able to make another Penny if she dies again?? I don’t know how likely it would be that she dies because she just got powers but, Why CRWBY? WHY?
-Ren and Nora to resolve their shit because they’ve clearly been setting up a conflict between them but also, I couldn’t care less about their relationship.
-Platonic ladybug scene. I can’t remember the last time Blake and Ruby talked to each other lol. I like platonic ladybug.
-Tie into Vacuo. At one point, I don’t remember who but one of the villains makes a comment about how it would be bad if Atlas calls on Vacuo for aid and I would like that to become important. I think it would be a good tie in to the arc in Vacuo coming next.
