Stephen was sadly not moved by the face and just scowled at his son, “That’s what happens when you don’t do your chores Butters.”

He could have sworn he’d done all of his chores! His parents had set up a little whiteboard on the fridge with all of the instructions clearly written out, and his contribution was to add check-marks to every task when he had completed them. When looking at said whiteboard, everything was clearly checked off….

So either he didn’t do them correctly, or there were new chores that he didn’t know about. That sounded about right…

“I-I’m sorry, sir…” Came his response, clearly dejected though he wasn’t going to fight it. “I’ll try and do better for next time..”
