Here’s the Paschal Troparion in many different languages, you may find yours in this video!
“For God says: Pray wholeheartedly… though you may feel nothing, though you may see nothing, for in dryness and in bareness, in sickness and in weakness, then is your prayer most pleasing to Me.”
~St. Julian of Norwich

“I sometimes think we give too much importance to our outward attitude of prayer. We expect too much emotionally of ourselves, much more than God is asking for.
God is only asking us to remember Him at all times, in good and bad periods to offer Him this moment of our time–this moment, not the following one. The present is what He asks; not in great gestures of surrender, but in a continual natural stream even as we breathe.
Prayer carries us–not we our prayer.”

The Catholic Church in the United States has lost the Poor Clare nun who changed the face of Catholicism in the United States and around the world. Mother Mary Angelica of the Annunciation, foundress of the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), passed away on March 27 after a lengthy struggle with the aftereffects of a stroke. She was 92 years old.
“She founded and grew a network that appealed to everyday Catholics, understood their needs and fed their spirits. She had a lot of help, obviously, but that was part of her genius.” - Archbishop Charles Chaput,
“In passing to eternal life, Mother Angelica leaves behind a legacy of holiness and commitment to the New Evangelization that should inspire us all,” - Carl Anderson, “Mother Angelica was fearless because she had God on her side,”
EWTN has been part of the spiritual journeys of many of us. I am forever grateful to Mother Angelica for living out her vocation in a way that has helped so many.
Rest in Peace Mother Angelica. You are in my prayers. God bless you.
She is alive! In Heaven! With Jesus! :)

“When you will say, ‘All Saints, pray to God for me!’ - than all of the saints in heaven will cry out, ‘Lord have mercy!’ - and you will have what you desire.”
