I need advice... I came out about five years ago, it was a hard time but everything has been great since. I have been in quite a few relationships, the last being great but ending bad. The last few weeks I have started talking to an old coworker again and I think I'm starting to develop feelings... The only issue, this old coworker is a girl. It took me a long time to come to terms with who I am and I know I am attracted to guys, I have never been attracted to girls until now, Idk what to think.
Here’s my take, and remember I’m just a guy that blogs on here and tries to give my opinion if asked. It’s gotta be hard coming to terms with being gay, living that and then all of a sudden liking someone of the opposite sex after thinking that you’re gay. I think if you have feelings for her, be totally honest and let her know about who you are, if she doesn’t already know. We never know who we’re going to fall in love with so maybe it’s just that you are not quite 100% gay. If you guys talk and agree to take that chance on each other, then good for you, we all want to find the love of our life, maybe for you its this girl. Be very careful though, you wouldn’t want to hurt her if you realize that you are in fact gay and can’t live in a straight relationship. The key is to be completely honest of your feelings. It’s ok if you’re in fact bi instead of gay. The only way you’re going to find out is to give it a chance. I hope you figure it all out without anyone getting hurt. Best of luck to you.
That’s a very sensible answer Mike!
