most enlightened religious convo i’ve ever had is with mormon and a catholic guy who hates non-catholics had to come ruin it for us by calling her a stupid heretic

she clearly loves her god so much and is curious about him in a way that (in my view) exceeds any denomination and she seemed so happy talking about it (i even told her i felt the same way about my practice and she seemed to appreciate that) and then he came in all like “ackshually you’re wrong and also stupid and should convert to catholicism”

he also heard i was raised jewish ONCE (reform/conservative btw) and was mildly disgruntled that i wasn’t orthodox and also REALLY mad that im a witch now
