He actually gave an interview on the subject to GayStarNews:

“My weight gain was on purpose. I used to strive to be a huge muscled dude with abs. I started lifting weights in 2012 and worked hard at lifting and counting calories and macros for a few years. However, I just wasn’t increasing my size like I wanted to. I had always been envious of beefier muscled bears, so in 2015 I decided to go that route to increase my size … I wanted to become a bear.”

Little side by side of him now and him some years ago, when he was still stick thin. He claims to wear the same sweater, but it's pretty obvious he just bought a bigger size of the same sweater. He would bulge out of the original one with all his extra lard. He was smart enough to not try to wear skinny jeans again, 'cause he's certainly not skinny anymore. While his belly used to be completely flat before, now there's a big roll of pudge drooping over those tight pants when he tries to jump. I guess it's not as easy as when he was still only half his current weight.
