THE BATBOYS ARE...?(POLL LINK)
Characters I actively write for: Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne/Al-Ghul, Leon Kennedy, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Young!Coriolanus Snow.
Characters I plan on writing for: Padmé Amidala, Aaron Warner, Kenji Kishimoto, Astarion(BG3), Theodore Nott, Rafe Cameron, JJ Maybank, Zayne(LoveAndDeepSpace), Rafayel(LoveAndDeepSpace), Henry Turner, Sejanus Plinth, Art Donaldson.
Things I will not write: Inc3st, active abuse, r*pe, active self-harm, active substance abuse, p3dophilia.
Summary: Rafe Cameron has a reputation. Violent and untrustworthy. After some neglected communication, his girlfriend stands up for her worth.
Warnings: Rafe himself, rumors, mentions of a gun, mentions of drugs, unhealthy dynamics, love bombing(?), Barry himself, manipulation, Rafes mood swings, breakup.
This is my first time writing for Rafe. I'm sorry if he's a little OC.
𓇼
Rafe Cameron has had his own fair share of issues that have been present since he was just a boy.
You've heard all of the stories. Beating random Pogues, having bits of rage, and being coked up most of the day. You're familiar.
Despite that, you found yourself wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt.
He was kind to you, acting all sweet, giving you the attention you needed. When asked if he was busy, he'd always reply with "I'm never too busy for you."
Maybe that's what lured you in. The image of what would be the perfect boyfriend for you. The one who would take care of you. The one you would marry.
Rafes act only lasted for just a few months.
Soon, he was missing dates, calling you to say, "I'm sorry, baby."
Even then, calls started to dwindle as well. Now he just left quick text messages while you're in the middle of getting ready. Sometimes it leaves you at home alone, or just going out with friends and pretending like you're fine with plans being rescheduled again.
When he's with you, sitting with his thigh touching yours, he seems out of it, like he's somewhere far away. He's distant. Like always. You don't know where this came from. Maybe this is how it was always destined to be. Maybe it's from that cross you always hear him talk about.
-
A week. It has been an entire week since you have seen your boyfriend, Rafe Cameron. And only a few days since you've talked to him on the phone.
You texted him last night, but got no response.
You heard of some parties around Figure 8, and a big part of you thinks that is where your boyfriend was. You would text Topper if he was still on good terms with Rafe, and you would talk to Sarah if you believed that she actually knew where her brother was.
You woke up early this morning, deciding you were officially done with Rafe Cameron's shenanigans.
Barry's or Tannyhill first? You asked yourself.
Barry's, just to be sure.
The drive felt longer than usual just because of the weight on your heart and shoulders.
You never liked Barry, finding it weird that a grown adult drug dealer was your boyfriends best friend. You've seen how he treats his customers. He's intimidating and manipulative. You feel as if some of it had rubbed off of Rafe.
You closed your car door with a slam, already zeroing in on the man who's outside.
"Heyyy." His smile was almost like a smirk.
"Have you seen Rafe?" You cut to the chase, not wanting to be around the man for longer than you have to be.
"Country club?" Who else? If you didn't know Rafe and Barry, it would sound like he'd suggest that as an idea, but that's just Rafes nickname. "Naw. I haven't seen him since last night."
A laugh escapes the man, like he knows something you don't.
"That's all I needed." You sighed, already getting back into your car.
Barry raises an arm, waving you off for a second, just to get back to licking the blunt he was previously wrapping before you pulled up.
Hopefully Rafe is at home.
Here's another dreadful ride for you.
To the upper north side of Outer Banks you go.
-
When you step into Rafes bedroom, you notice him still sleeping in his bed. He's sleeping on his stomach, one arm under the pillow he's lying on. Even after you knocked.
You grab one of the other pillows that are on Rafes bed, raising it up before hitting him with it a few times, making him groan and jolt.
"What- what? Fuck..." He sighed, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
"I've been calling you." You start off. No 'hello', no 'good morning'. "I've even been texting you."
"I was sleeping." He states, a little annoyed at you for waking him up.
A bitter laugh escaped you. "Well, apparently you weren't when I texted you last night. You were with Barry." Rafe knows how much you dislike Barry.
"He's my friend. What do you want me to say?" He grows defensive, standing up from his bed. He's shirtless, only in his boxers. That leaves you to suspect that he probably stripped after coming home during the early hours of the morning. He looks down at his floor, reaching for the shirt he threw down. You were right.
"Unbelievable." You mumbled, shaking your head as you turned away from him with a huff.
"What the fuck is your problem?" Here we go.
You immediately spin back around in order to face him, pointing a finger. "My problem is you!"
"Me?! What did I do?!" Your voices travel around the room, and if anyone were to pass by, it's clear that an argument is happening inside.
"Hm, I don't know." You reply sarcastically. "Maybe it's the unreturned calls and texts. Maybe it's the fact that I never know where you are. Maybe it's the fact that you're constantly bailing. Maybe it's the fact that you hang out with shitty people."
"Come on-" Rafe puts his hands up, now working on trying to calm you down. Rolling his eyes as he looks to the side.
"Or maybe it's the fact that we only see each other when you need something!" You're definitely not calming down. He needs to be held accountable. "I'm not your therapist!"
Rafe stayed quiet, swallowing whatever was in his mouth. He wouldn't be lying if he said he didn't feel something dark sitting in the back of his mind.
"I'm done!"
"What do you mean by that?" He was on guard now. You just want to leave him?
The two of you stared at each other for a few seconds, right before you turned away from him, throwing open his bedroom door and storming out.
"Hey!" Rafe yelled, following right behind you. "You're just gonna leave? You're being dramatic. Psychooo!"
He dragged out his words, just saying things to try and make you look like you're blowing this out of proportion. It wasn't until you were downstairs and opening the doors to leave his family's home, where it finally caught up to him.
Rafes chest tightened when he felt that familiar sense of abandonment. "Wait- baby, don't leave. Don't leave me!"
He followed you to your car, his eyes stinging the second you climbed I'm and locked the doors.
"Please don't leave! Y/n!" He pulled the driver side handle a few times before realizing he couldn't get in. He put his hands on the windows, staring inside while watching you start your car. "We can talk about this!"
You didn't even wait for your car to warm up before switching out of park and leaving Tannyhill. You, too, felt the tears in your eyes. You loved Rafe, but sometimes you have to put yourself first.
Rafe put his hands on his head, letting his tears fall.
His sadness and fear soon turned to anger. He turned his body quickly, screaming into the air.
"Fuckkk!"

Heyyy, guys...
Like, I've been gone for a while. I may have gone into psychosis and abandoned everything.
Heres a year old draft. Im honestly cringing.
I'm still nowhere near ready to return, my mentality is still fragile. But I understand my struggles and how leaving could have been jarring. I'll speak more of this when I actually continue posting again.
Ooh, I'm interested to know what this book series is. I've done the same, had 1 series where I had all the books but read them well out of order and another one where I though it had a really anticlimactic ending but I'd just never bought or read the last book. My new thing now as an adult I'd I always seem to buy book 2 no matter how hard I try to avoid it
13 Treasures.
LMAO
When I was 10, I really got into reading, so I remember lots of good books, but not the names.
I fell in love with these specific ones after reading "The Thirteen Curses." Which I think is the second book. After I read that one, I read "The Thirteen Treasures." Which is the first one. (I just searched the plot of the third book. I think I HAVE read it.)
I forgot the names and some of the plot, so I haven't been able to find the books... UNTIL NOW!
Lol, a Spotify add said something that made me recall the plot, so I Googled it and found it immediately. It's surprising that it's taken me so long since I literally Googled it a few years ago and got no results.
I hope that they're still as good as I remember if I re-read them. They were in my schools library, so I doubt they're like the books I'd read today.
I just cried at 8AM because I found the name of the book trilogy I was obsessed with in fifth grade. I love these books. I still refer to them as my favorite books, and I only remember very little!
Imagine my surprise when I found out it was a trilogy! I've only read two of the books! (In the incorrect order.)
Edit: I just searched the plot of the third book. I think I HAVE read it.
brothers best friend anon here: oh thank god!!!!! take ur time babes i just wanted to make sure it would at some point be updated but no rush ik itll be fantastic and im so willing to wait
Lol, thank you!
I hope that everyone enjoys Damian experiencing the life of a "normal" teenage boy/young adult once I finally get the chapters out!
hi love! i just found brothers best friend and i adoreeee it sm pls tell me its not abandoned 😭😭
I definitely plan on updating it!!!
I briefly talked about this in my last post, but I've been going through some really bad writers block and feel like I just haven't written the second chapter well enough.
I promise it will be updated once I tweak some stuff!
Shoe!! When is the next chapter for your Jason fic going to be out??
Oh, I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting!
If I'm being honest, I don't know exactly, but I do plan on it being soon.
I feel a little bummed out by my stories because I feel like there's lots of rushed and reused parts. I have been thinking about going back and re-writing a couple of chapters before I post new ones.
In "Alternate" I feel like I'm just going to let people down.
In "Sunshine follows with Sunfall" I feel repetitive. Even though things are going to start getting interesting!
And in "Brothers Best-friend(A Damian Fic)" I feel like I'm not doing a good enough job portraying the characters.
I do plan on getting back into progressing all of the series I have slowed down on. I also plan on writing some requests soon(I promised two people a fic MONTHS ago). I'm sorry that I've been lacking. Once my brain actually let's me sit down and write something I'm satisfied with, I promise I'll post!
Much Love!!!
Edit: I briefly talked about my absence right here.
Summary: He's a wolf in sheep's clothing. You're the sacrificial lamb. (What it was like.)
Warnings: Wolf and lamb imagery, mentions of sexual interactions, one of them being Non-Con... I think?("Making love", "fucking", "thrusting".), naivety, mentions of murder and blood, killing Lucy Gray Baird, being a Trophy wife, lies, mentions of breeding, being trapped in a marriage, getting hunted, guns, mentions The Hunger Games, mentions hanging(Sejanus' death), rebellion, being a shell of yourself, being tied up, getting rid of a body(Lucy Gray), toxic relationship, controlling!Coryo, Coriolanus' being 'bony'.
Fem!Reader.
I'm trying something new with my writing.
He lured you in.
He was one of the best Academy students and the only power he had was his name.
He spoke with you over open and discarded books, spewing with his charming words.
Sweet naive you.
He pressed soft kisses to your lips and thrusted in a pattern that made you see stars. Cosmic. Making love.
He was kind to your family, he was kind to your friends. He cared for you.
°•°•°
He was a mentor in the tenth Hunger Games, his tribute was Lucy Gray Baird. He helped her win, cheating for her from behind a screen while you supported him without knowing what he's done.
He was caught, and his punishment was becoming a Peacekeeper. Originally for District 8.
You threw a fit in his bedroom, crying and crying over again, begging the universe to not separate the two of you.
Dependent.
His hands held your face as he looked between both of your eyes, his own going back and forth. Left and right.
"No, you wont." He sounded so firm, but his voice still held the softness he could only have for you. "I'm going to 12. I will make sure to see through with it. You will go to 12."
And like a lamb led to the slaughter, you did.
°•°•°
You watched him beat a man, defending Lucy Gray like she was still his responsibility. You swam in the lake with him, holding onto him and laughing without a care in the world. You broke down with him after Sejanus' death. You stayed in the cabin with him and Lucy Gray.
The three of you planned a future that would get you all killed. You spoke the same words that had your dear friend, Sejanus, hung in front of a galore of witnesses.
Murdered.
Martyr.
You were oblivious to the way Coriolanus was cracking, something finally going off in his brain. He broke down.
He revealed what he's done. He told you both about Sejanus. He's why Sejanus Plinth, Bobbin, and Mayfair are dead.
Backstabber.
Murderer.
Lucy played it cool, keeping her calm as to not draw suspicion.
She grabbed your arm and a basket, making it seem innocent as she told him the two of you were going to pick katniss.
"Lucy Gray," He stared as she opened the door, a bright smile on her face as she gripped you tighter. "It's still raining."
"Well, we're not made out of sugar." And with that, she pulled you out. The two of you walked together until you were out of sight from the cabin windows.
And then you heard him.
Screaming, yelling, gunshots, running.
Cat and mouse.
Snake and bird.
Wolf and lamb.
Lucy Gray was dead beside you, and Coriolanus Snow was her killer. You were on the ground, your lover on top of you, tears spilling from your eyes as you stared at your lifeless friend. Coriolanus' hands dug into the plush of your body while he forced you to stand, holding your wrist with one hand while dragging Lucy with the other.
Back at the cabin, you were bound enough to where you couldn't run, but watching as Coriolanus wrapped up Lucy Gray's body and dumped her in the lake you all swam and laughed in just days before.
"No loose ends." He repeated to you as ge forced you into the cabin, tying you to the bed the two of you slept on. "Besides you. But you won't tell anyone, will you?" He asked softly, wiping your tears and pushing back your hair.
You shook your head repeatedly, breathing heavily and staring at him with wide eyes.
"Good." He let out a breath as a smile grew on his face, now caressing one of your cheeks. "Good girl."
He leaned in and kissed you, ridding you of your clothes while you cried. He wasnt sweet. He didn't kiss the tears away, they just seemed to egg him on. This was not making love. He was fucking you while you were vulnerable.
×
You didn't get to leave Panem. You didn't get to run off and live a fairytale.
Coriolanus brought you back to the Capitol, solidifying you to him by announcing your engagement to him.
He didn't stop. Not even when he moved in with Sejanus' mourning parents, not even when he killed them.
Not even when he became the president, and you the First Lady.
You were both in your twenties, living better than you used to.
Coriolanus was no longer bony, no longer hungry. He no longer wore the clothes his cousin, Tigris, would make him. His hair was no longer buzzed like it was when he was a Peacekeeper, and his personality was different than when he was eighteen.
You're still intimate. You live, work, eat, sleep together. Your womb is warm for his seed. You're married, by Panem and Capitol law. But you are not partners. He is the dictator, your the trophy First Lady. You dress exactly as he likes. You act exactly as he likes. You move exactly as he likes. His word is law. Yours is nothing. And every moment you am his, you wonder what it would be like to not have to dance to his puppet strings.
I'm going through and deleting a bunch of my older work. This includes almost all of my fic's that revolve around Paul Dano. I'm also working on my Masterlist so that it doesn't look so ugly and jumbled.
Warnings: Talks of birth and pregnancy, alcohol(whiskey), suggestive content, lots of timeskips.

Today is Judith's birthday!!!
~☆~
It's October 27th, Judith's seventh birthday.
Seven years ago, you went into labor at 1:23AM and finally delivered her at 3:07AM.
You silently made your way into her room, flicking off the projector nightlight. You turn towards her small bed, smiling to yourself as you sit on the side, leaning behind her. You smoothed your hand over her dark hair. "Judy Jayne," you sang her nickname softly. "Time to wake up, birthday girl."
She stirred, pouting since she's not a morning person, but a smile grew on her face when she opened her eyes and looked at you, excited because of her birthday.
"Good morning!" You grinned.
"Good morning, Mommy." Her voice wasn't as upbeat as yours, but that was just the morning grogginess.
You hummed a soft tune to her and smoothed down her hair one last time before helping her out of bed, not caring about tidying the orange sheets. The two of you walked into the kitchen, and you helped her up onto the elevated seats that go to the breakfast bar. You then put a plate in front of her, French toast strips with some orange slices, and sausage.
"Thank you, Mommy!" She squeals, watching you put syrup and powdered sugar on her cut-up French toast.
"You are so very welcome." You rounded the counter and kissed her head. "I have some gifts."
"Really?!" Judith asked excitedly, acting as if she didn't get gifts every year on her birthday.
"Yes." You laughed slightly, walking into the living room, only to come back with some gifts in your arms. Periwinkle scurried into the kitchen after you, almost as if he wanted to see Judith's gifts as well.
You placed a Hello Kitty stuffed animal on the bar, watching as Judith smiled widely. Then you placed a bracelet making kit down.
"Thank you, Mommy!" Judith thanked you again, reaching her arms out for a hug.
You wrapped your arms around her smaller body. "Of course, my girl!"
"Hurry up and eat! We're gonna have a big party with all of your uncles, grandpa, and all your friends, remember?"
Judith nodded and quickly went back to her breakfast, eyeing her gifts with a smile as she ate.
×××
Your keys jiggled in door to your apartment, opening up easily. Judith sang loudly to herself as she carried a gift bag over to the couch. You yourself carried a two more.
You locked the front door behind the two of you, placing two bigger bags on the floor next to the couch. You walked over to the archway to the kitchen, going to turn on the light, but you jump as soon as your eyes land on a large body. "Oh my God!"
The person laughed, causing Judith to run in, instantly hearing the sound of her father's laughter. "Daddy!"
"Hey, Sunshine." He groaned a little as he bent to pick her up. Her little arms and legs went around him as she clung to him. "Happy Birthday!"
"Thank you, Daddy!" She smiled.
"I made the two of you dinner." He looked at you. "Hopefully, you guys aren't too full from your party."
You smiled and shook your head. "Don't worry."
Jason nodded and looked back at the girl in his arms. "It's your favorite."
"Chicken Alfred!" Both Jason and you laugh from her mispronunciation of 'Chicken Alfredo'.
Jason carried her back into the living room to set her down, and you took it upon yourself to plate the alfred he had in a tupperware container. It's still warm.
You grab three plates and three forks, one of them being a children's fork.
Just as you're pouring some drinks, Jason comes back into the kitchen. "Actually, I have a little something for you and I.... you know, to celebrate the fact that we made a life."
"Oh no." You laughed a little, wondering what Jason could have brought.
He stands next to you, reaching into the bag he brought as it sits on the counter. He looks at you and raises his eyebrows, smirking before pulling out what he had. An expensive bottle of whiskey.
"I don't know if you drink or not... but..."
You roll your eyes and smile, picking up Judith's plate and drink. "Go grab some whiskey glasses."
And with that, you walk back into the living room.
You could indulge tonight.
×××
After Judith went to bed, Jason and you stood in the kitchen, talking about anything really.
The two of you had drinks in your hands, both of you honestly a little tipsy.
"There's a dollhouse in my car that I need help with getting out." You tell him about one of Judith's gifts and he offers to help you out with it tomorrow night, meaning he'll come back soon.
The two of you fall into a comfortable silence, no longer awkward for some reason. Maybe it's the alcohol?
"Remember when you outgrew your clothes and had to wear mine until we bought you some more?" Jason asks, chuckling as he holds his glass to his lips.
You laugh and nod. "Yeah, I was so big."
Jason looks at you wistfully, speaking with a newfound softness in his voice. "You were really cute with the belly."
You stare back at him and smile slightly. "Thank you. Thank you for Judith."
Jason's gaze is so intense. He was hanging on to every word you spoke, listening to you like you're guiding him to the garden of Eden. "No. Thank you for actually making and birthing her."
He was so close that you could smell the familiar scent that used to linger around your shared home, the scent you used to smell when you'd hug and cuddle up to him.
Tobacco, gunpowder, leather, something earthy, something sweet, and a spritz of a generic men's cologne.
But something was different.
He also smelled like your home. Fresh linen and lavender. Something so small, yet so big to you.
Maybe it's the familiarity. Maybe it's just him. But somehow, you ended up pressed against the counter, kissing him for the first time in years.
A part of you wanted to slap yourself for kissing the man who left you and your daughter for an entire year, yet another part of you could burst out crying from how much you've missed this. When Jason and you split, pieces of your hearts died. Now, it feels as if you are both healing each other.
He had set down his whiskey glass, now running his hands up and down your torso as the intensity grew with the passage kiss. Your arms made their way around his neck and you put your fingers in his hair, tugging on the dark strands.
Jason broke away from the kiss so that he could trail more down to your neck, getting a mixture of both of your spit onto your skin.
"Relax, we're not trying to make another kid." You pant, making Jason chuckle.
He trailed his kisses back up your neck, to your jaw, to your chin, but not to your lips.
The two of you looked into each other's eyes, sensing the yearning and desperation.
This is mostly just a filler chapter(just like the last one)
Honestly, I'm so sorry that I keep disappearing and returning with chapters that have no action. It's Judith + Jason content, though.

"What time is Judith's award ceremony?"
1:06 AM
"8:30."
1:08 AM
"I'll be there."
1:08 AM
×××
That morning had been normal. You woke up Judith for school and fed her breakfast before she went to go brush her teeth. You then helped her put on her clothes, brush her hair, and put on her shoes.
She arrived at school normally, sitting in the cafeteria before going off to her class so that she could do her morning work before the entire first grade sat in the cafeteria together and had their awards ceremony.
You showed up at the school thirty minutes early, sitting yourself down in one of the chairs set up in the back for the parents. You gazed at the stage, smiling softly to yourself as you think about how far your girl has come.
Once a small girl who couldn't even hold her head up, now an elementary student who's going to smile brightly on the stage as she holds up her awards paper-
"Hey." A slightly hoarse voice spoke from beside you as someone sat down.
You looked next to you and noticed Jason. "Hello." You sat up slightly straighter.
Jason tugged on the front of his jacket as he adjusted it. "Hope you don't mind me sitting here. Is this seat taken?"
Another slight smile tugs on the corner of your lips. "Bruce and Tim are at work, Dick is in Blüdhaven, and Damian is at his own school. It's not taken."
"I would've thought B and Butt brains would take time out of work for this." Jason tilts his head slightly.
"They're at a meeting." You inform him.
"Ahhh...."
An awkward pause fell over the two of you.
"You look nice today...."
Your eyes go over to Jason again, your gaze soft. You catch yourself and clear your throat, looking at the stage again. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." He nods to himself. "Well, not that you don't look nice everyday..."
You take in a deep breath and let out a sigh. "Thank you, Jason." You say again.
"You're welcome." He smiles slightly. "So, who's class is she in?"
"Mrs. Thompson's."
"Is she a good teacher?" Jason asks you.
"Judith likes her." You nod. "I'd say she's good."
Jason was going to say something else, but the cafeteria doors opened and students started walking in. The two of you watched as the first graders all filled the seats, sitting in rows assigned to their teachers.
"There's Jude!" You grin and point at one of the classes walking. Sure enough, your daughter was walking in the middle of the line.
Judith didn't notice Jason or you as she walked by, too focused on going to her seat. She sat down and a boy sat down next to her. The two of them started talking, smiling to each other as Judith waved her hands around.
"Who's that?" Jason asks you, speaking again.
"Her friend Alex." You glance at him as you tell him that. "Relax, she's literally six."
"I know, I know." He sighs. "Almost seven though."
"Oh!" You actually look at him now, instead of just glancing. "Will you be seeing her on her birthday?"
Jason smiles. "You think I wouldn't?"
A chuckle escapes your lips. "We have a tight schedule that day. We'll be at the Manor so that she can have a small little party, but we'll be back home that night."
Jason nods. "I'll be there. Text me when you get home."
"I will." You lean back in your seat and smile down at your lap.
The awards ceremony started just seconds later. Teachers took their turn going up to the stage and calling up members of their classes to hold up the awards they've earned.
Mrs. Thomson soon got on the stage and introduced herself, smiling as she called her class up by their names, starting with the Accelerated Reader award.
She went down the list of names and eventually called, "Judith Todd."
Judith excitedly got up from her seat and went up to the stage, taking her paper award. Judith went to go stand in the line of her classmates.
"Just like her father." You smile as you lean over and whisper to Jason. "You were such a nerd back in school."
Jason glances at you and tries to hide his own smile. You were right. He was a 'nerd' back in school.
Judith grinned as her name was called for a few more awards.
At the end of the ceremony, all students were allowed to stand and go visit their parents.
Jason and you stood and smiled as Judith came running up to the two of you. "Mommy! Daddy!"
Her arms reached up for the two of you and Jason lifted her up into his arms. "Hey, Sunshine."
"Hi, Daddy." She rests her head on his shoulder, handing you the three awards she got.
"Good job, Judy!" You match her enthusiasm, causing her to giggle.
"Thank you, mommy." She replies.
"Of course, baby." You smooth down her hair and lean closer to her and Jason.
Jason looks down at the paper awards Judith handed you. "AR. Good job." He smiles at her.
"Daddy's coming over for your birthday!" You tell the young girl.
"Really?!" She squeals.
"Of course!" Jason returns her enthusiasm.
Judith holds her father tightly as she kicks her feet, her smile widening as she wriggles around happily.
The teachers started rounding up their students again, making Jason have to let Judith go. "Love ya, Sunshine."
"I love you too, Mommy and Daddy!" Judith hugged your hips then ran off, leaving Jason and you alone again.
