being in the workforce that she was in, she was frequently put in the line of fire, near-death runs ins with explosions, and many more. though, this time it was a closer call than ever. being thrown back twenty feet due to an explosion and knocked unconscious was a new one for her. not entirely sure how long she’d been unconscious for, all she knew was that when she came through and sat up in bed a doctor informed her he’d contacted her emergency contact and that he was going to bring her back. before she could decline the doctor had already gone back to the waiting room to get the other. running a hand through her hair, moments later she was greeted by a heartbreakingly familiar face. “ you didn’t have to come here. ” she begins, pressing her lips together as she ached off of the bed to attempt to stand on her feet. “ my mom is on her way. ” anyone who knew lillian knew that she hasn’t been on speaking terms with her mother since she was sixteen. but, she just wanted the other to LEAVE. she didn’t intend on seeing her again after their break up and she definitely didn’t intend on having them aid her in the hospital either.
