This is my sideblog dedicated to Aphrodite. โชโชMy main blog is @carissimuspuer and I have another sideblog dedicated to Apollon @drowningsunlight. ๐นญ.แ
I have been a Hellenic Polytheist for almost 8 years now, and through most of this time I have been primarily worshipping Apollon and later on Hermes, Ares, and Father Zeus. Since going to University, I have found Aphrodite's presence and my worship of Her to be incredibly comforting and grounding, and so I have finally made a blog specifically for Her.
I mostly worship Her in Her capacity as a goddess of self and platonic love, which to me are not all too far removed from romantic love. To me She is the beauty in the stubborn life and hope that continues on despite difficulties, and still too the kindness in being gentle with yourself and others in a world so often determined to be cold and cruel.
Due to the nature of Aphrodite's domains, I don't doubt I will reblog or make nsfw posts from time to time (nothing terribly detailed). I will tag these posts as nsfw.
