For those who donāt know, I made a pairing featuring Juno from Overwatch and Scout from TF2. These two originally started as a joke by my boyfriend but I accidentally couldnāt stop thinking about them so now here we are.
These are dumb headcanons and not to be taken seriously. Idk how to really format this so here we go lmfao
- To no oneās surprise, Scout definitely attempts to hit on Juno upon seeing her.
- āHey good lookinā, say are you from outer space? Cause your face is out of this world.ā
- Unfortunately for him, Juno has severe anxiety and was flustered by his advance, causing her to panic and run off.
- Incredibly confused, Scout shrugs it off believing it was another failed attempt.
- Unbeknownst to him, it did actually work. Juno was just too shy and too much of a nervous wreck.
- Afterward, Juno had a small crush on the mercenary. She just needed the courage to actually *talk* to him.
- Juno is actually pretty good when teamed up with Scout.
- Scout takes full advantage to her Hyper Rings, using them to get to the Control Point way faster than usual.
- Due to his speed, Juno can lock her torpedos to heal him. She isnāt as fast as he is, so she definitely relies on those to repair the other.
- Juno overall would be very helpful to the mercs
- As for Scout I fear he would be very annoying to Overwatch. I can see him getting on Sojournās nerves.
Out of combat interactions
- Scout would offer Juno a bucket of chicken.
- āYou mean a chicken fried this rice?!ā
- Scout would find her taking things literally very endearing and would definitely get her to say something silly just to get a good laugh.
- Juno is a little mischievous as implied by her interaction with Kiriko , so she definitely plays small tricks on Scout and the other mercenaries (if on the others, her and Scout will team up half of the time)
- When they arenāt playing pranks on each other, Scout asks somewhat genuine questions about Mars and outer space just to get Juno talking.
- He doesnāt necessarily understand a lot about what she tells him but again, itās mostly an excuse to get her to talk more since sheās such a nervous wreck.
- Scout is incredibly curious about her shoes and has tried to wear them a few times, but each try has lead to catastrophic visits to Medic.
- Juno in turn is curious of Bonk!, but refuses to drink it for obvious reasons. Still, she eagerly wishes to know how on Earth it works.
- Scout takes awhile to actually ask Juno her real name, Teo Minh, mostly due to the fact he prefers calling her Juno.
- Juno instead calls him Jeremy pretty often. Itās sometimes a little jarring for Scout every now and then but he doesnāt particularly mind it too much. Heās just used to being called āScoutā in battle.
- Juno has told Scout he reminds her of Tracer. He denies the similarities.
- Juno, as established earlier, has a crush pretty early on.
- She is very much teased by the agents of Overwatch with this fact, mostly by Hana (D.va) and Kiriko.
- Juno hasnāt really formed a crush before, since the only people she really knew prior to being on Earth were her family back on Mars. So she is very much stressed about the whole thing.
- In hopes of impressing him, Juno has gotten into comic books and sports. She unfortunately doesnāt entirely understand the mediums but sheās doing her best!
- She has confused Baseball for Cricket in front of him and she is still very much embarrassed by this to this day.
- She never really gives intentional hints, mostly due to the fear of him not actually liking her in that way in return. But she is incredibly bad at hiding the fact she likes him.
- She is unfortunately very obvious.
- Fortunately for her, Scout is a major dumbass.
- Scout is very dense, truly believing he blew his chance with Juno and assumed she didnāt like him that way.
- All the mercs canāt believe heās this stupid.
- Scout is definitely the type of guy to sketch his crush in some secret sketchpad and has ABSOLUTELY drawn Juno.
- Spy def uses Scoutās crush on Juno against him and uses it as blackmail lmfao.
- If any of the mercs were to tell Scout Juno obviously liked him heād probably have a hard time believing them.
- āListen I know Iām great with girls but Juno obviously doesnāt like me that way.ā
- Heās also a little obvious about his crush on Juno.
- He tends to clear his throat a lot and lose his track of thinking around her.
- Spy 100% knows Juno likes Scout back but does nothing about it. It doesnāt concern him and if anything he wants to continue bothering Jeremy.
- Scout has put a few space-related stuff on his belongings just slyly try to get Juno to ask about them.
- āI see you have a NASA sticker on your bat!ā
- āHuh? Oh this? Yeah Iāve getting into all that uh- outer space stuff lately.ā
- āOh how wonderful! What part of space are you interested in?ā
- Neither of them are really brave enough to actually tell the other how they feel.
- Juno gets too scared at the thought, coming up with numerous scenarios of what could go wrong during a hypothetical confession or what would happen between them.
- Scout, on the other hand, is just nervous and doesnāt really want to risk it.
- Instead, Juno finds her own solution eventually.
- In fear of seeing a physical reaction from Scout, she opts out to write him a letter of how she feels and leaving it in his locker.
- However, Scout somehow doesnāt get this letter.
- Days pass and Juno is very confused. Why hasnāt he said anything to her? Why is he acting like nothing happened?
- Mustering up her courage, Juno one day taps Scout on his shoulder and confronts him about it.
- Panicking, Juno scurries off to find the letter she wrote to him.
- She looks high and low, even peering inside Scoutās locker to no avail.
- Scout is now curious as to what could have happened to the letter and the contents of what was in said letter
- And he knows exactly who to ask.
- Its Spy its 100% Spy literally everyone saw this coming
- Spy reveals he took the letter to lure in one of them into actually confessing to the other verbally, handing Scout the letter.
- Scoutās kinda annoyed that Spy put both of them through this so to spite him he writes a letter back to Juno and hands it to her.
- Junoās very much flattered and flustered by the gesture and the two start dating soon after
Kinda rushed it near the end and im gonna stop here for now but recently Red Planet has started to make the rounds on tiktok and so Iāve mostly been making edits of the two. Idk if I should make an ask page if people wanna hear more headcanons so ig likeā¦reply or reblog if you do????
