[PSA] Proshipping and Why It Is Bad. Let's Talk. This is NOT up for debate.

First off, I want to link multiple sources. I will be linking sources throughout, but for most information on what proshipping is, a creator by the name of Carapace has a good video going over it. I will link two of his videos: video 1, video 2
Now, as to where I get multiple sources, to find them on your own:

Let's go over the terms.
Proshipping: In simple terms, anti-harrassment toward ALL ships, heavy emphasis on ALL.
Darkshipping: A form of proship, believes in anti-harrassment and actively ships ¡ncest, ab*se, and ped0philia.
I will refer to both as proshippers.
Now, why is this bad?
Proshipping creates safe places for ped0philes with the belief that it's anti-harassment and “fiction doesn't affect reality”
Now let's go into the argument “fiction doesn't affect reality.”
Despite proshippers saying such, they also say “it's a [or] my coping mechanism!”, an immediate contradiction. Fiction does affect reality, despite what proshippers say.

these are terms that sugarcoat ped0philia or that ped0philes hide behind:
L0licon: L0licon is short for L0lita complex, this is inspired by the book L0lita by Vladimir Nabokov, which is about ped0philia. L0licon is the fetishization of little girls, particularly in older men, but can be anyone.
Sh0tacon: Opposite of a L0licon, fetishization of little boys, particularly in older women, but can be anyone.
K0dacon: Same as the above, more specifically, gender-neutral or both little boys and girls.
A good example of a L0licon media is nek0para.

Furthermore:
“it's a [my] coping mechanism” or “proshippers/darkshippers are usually victims!”
Lingering around trauma and constantly triggering or desensitizing yourself is not healthy; you will not heal from such.
And even if proshippers are victims, studies have shown ped0philes have been victims of ab*se, CSA, etc.
