RIP Beautiful Lady. Beautiful New York Times obituary for Pegi Young here.
Happy Birthday Patti Smith!
Check out Neil Young’s great video to Who’s Gonna Stand Up? Thanks, Neil.
I wish I could have met you in a place where we both belong
Neil Young, Flying on the Ground Is Wrong
Hello, Blog. So, this is LincVolt, Neil Young’s very special car. (I’ve been in love with it for a long time, as he is, too.) There’s a documentary mini-series coming up about its conversion to an electric hybrid (it’s a 1959 Lincoln Continental, imagine that!), and I now know I am not going to be able to get through it without a box of Kleenex. This car is somehow attached to my heart. I just watched this first clip from the documentary series and could not keep from crying. Don’t ask me why. Watch!Â
Wild Horses, Stripped. The Rolling Stones, acoustic, stunning, beautiful. Wild, wild horses couldn’t drag me away.
Why me? That's a very Earthling question to ask...why you? Why us for that matter? Why anything? Because the moment simply is. Have you ever seen bugs trapped in amber? Yes. Well here we are ... trapped in the amber of this moment. There is no why.
Kurt Vonnegut
Not sure I completely agree with this sentiment, but it is food for thought. I guess I’m more pragmatic, or in religious terms, agnostic about the Why me question. Why indeed? There may be an answer, and it may keep history from repeating itself, but it won’t change the facts of the here and now.Â
Neil Young, Bandit, from Greendale. Greendale was nothing short of a masterpiece. And the first Neil Young show I ever saw. It lit a fire it me that burns bright still today. Love, Neil Young Super Fan #8,978,345
My favorite kitchen anywhere ever. Claude Monet’s kitchen at Giverny. I’ve been there!

Happy Birthday Neil Young! Thinking of you and California with so much love today. ❤️
Big winds blow, extreme, unseen and dire. That's what climate change looks like.
Neil Young, who lost his home to this California fire.
More here, and Neil Young, I agree wholeheartedly with what you’re saying. And I’m so sorry you lost your home. Much Love.
Dear California,Â
My heart cries out for you, California. My heart breaks for you. You will get through this, and be reborn. I’m your biggest fan, I love you.Â

Two indigenous poets from opposite ends of the earth. Climate change. This is so beautiful. And heartbreaking. If you can watch this without a tear tugging at your heart, I don’t know you.
