In the verse where Jackie is not Champion, He’s an artist from Spikemuth who participated in the challenge and lost. He still does pokemon battles but is more renowned for his art than his strategy.

I also imagine he’d be one of the rivals or something. Something of a similar status because fuck I’m not giving up his special character privelages.
