He'd been too busy with work to even greet her properly upon her return to the capital, but luckily for him, Alibaba had always been rather forgiving. Still...he feels as though he needs to make up for it, and although the peacefully, sleeping figure of the blonde is resting so soundly against a desk littered with dozens of scrolls, he can't help but give her some sort of affection. He's completely unaware of just what he's doing as he leans over her sleeping body a kiss is planted to her head.

Of course he would be busy - her returning to his side, does not make the work disappear. Rather, it is admirable that he will put the work above his personal life. At first she had wanted to rest for the day and relax a little, but seeing that Hakuryuu was doing his best, Alibaba decided to follow his example. She had hid herself in her office, working through scroll after scroll when slowly the fatigue of her travels crept onto her and slowly but surely the blonde was falling asleep.

She didn’t react to Hakuryuu entering the room, sleep still clinging to her tightly. Only when she can feel a bit of his weight on her as he kissed her head, did she open her eyes. Golden suns blink up at him - it took her head a little to progress the information of what just happened but finally she realized that he had given her a kind gesture.

The young woman slowly raised her head, pressing her lips against his - her nose gently brushed against his skin and his scent filled her senses… which was why she suddenly pushed him a little bit away, looking to the side while sulking.

sometimes i srsly wish ufotable would pick up magi bcs lbr, their animation style and magi would go damn well. Especially for the djinn attacks . . . which makes me wonder if magi will get a remake once the manga finishes. . . imagine going through the balbadd arc again but this time with like HQ animation.
