rereading the hunger games books somewhat slowly in between other things, and it so often hits so hard that katnis is a CHILD. she's an unreliable narrator because she's a 16 year old teen! and sometimes it's funny, like yeah when i was sixteen i was also very naive about social stuff.

But then you reach district 13 and she's grounding herself by repeating "My name is Katnis Everdeen, I am seventeen years old.." and it just,, ugh idk it really hits hard vs the movies where she's not as obviously a KID. The mockingjay that was used as a tool by every power she interacted with was a scared seventeen year old GIRL

Got to see my first Starkid musical in person after 14 years of being a fan and it was the most surreal and amazing experience!!

I was completely blown away by everyone’s performances and Iván was absolutely brilliant as Hidgens 👏🏼
