I ACTUALLY MADE PROGRESS!

I HAVE WELL AND TRULY COOKED.

Since my last update on the Book series I'm writing we've had some major things happen that means I am definitely hitting my deadlines FOR ONCE!

Firstly, I finished a WHOLE four more chapters which now puts me in the last leg for writing the story being around 5-6 chapters depending on if I split any of them up into smaller chapters later on. For context this is the closest I've ever been to completing a version of the story that I haven't had urges to delete from my Google Docs!

In EVEN BIGGER NEWS! I've also begun my search for the illustrator for each of the Portal's covers and made even bigger decisions regarding the online versions which I'll explain now.

Firstly, The digital covers will each be created by a different person who I'll choose based on their submission to the little "contest" that I'm holding between my artsy friends

Secondly, I have finally finished setting up the little contest which I wanted to hold between my friends and whoever I felt made the best cover art for book one would be my chosen illustrator who I'll pay for each future instalments cover art

Lastly, everyone who I chose to take part that actually submits an entry would be chosen to do something related to one of my books as I do have other series that I plan on finishing in the future or I'd just ask them to do one of the digital cover arts!

Now to round off this weeks update I've chosen a song which I believe really relates to not just Book one but the Portal's Series as a whole, enjoy.

I'M WRITING A BOOK!

Over the past few years I've been writing a book called Portal's, it's a fantasy/adventure story with sci-fi elements intertwined and its finally nearing completion and if all goes well it'll be published during Fall.

I'm gonna start making some posts about the book to give out little bits of info about it and update my progress

A Brief Synopsis About The Book!

In Portal's you'll follow a character named Striker (no its not a self insert, my Youtube is named after him) who has found himself displace in another universe. Throughout, the first part of Book 1 he is working towards his goal of creating portal travel to find his way home. Along the way he'll encounter new challenges, threats and even people that'll truly test his morals and chances of ever making it home.

I'll make another big update pretty soon but the plan for this week is to get the commissions for both the physical and digital cover arts for the book as they'll be slightly different between copies!

Keep an eye out cause I have some little snippets of the book I'll be releasing and I'll leave you with one of my favourite lines that I've written so far.

"He was the only living being left in this melancholy universe, his life the only essence of colours in existance and his cries falling on deaf ears as the only sound echoing throughout each empty galaxy"
