Restoring a 1973 Honda CL350 K5

Simple to remove the rear mudguard (rear fender) and pillion grab bar which has the rear indicators attached. Simple bullet connector wiring so just pop them apart and then removed. the pillion grab bar slips into the suspension bolts. The mudguard, slips into the top of the toolbox.

Have been watching #abikeisborn to help inspire me finish mine. @MarkEvansTV needs to do one on a 1973 Honda CL350

Rear Fender Removal

Getting ready to remove the rear fender (lets keep it American)  Looks straight forward enough.

Battery removed - Dead Mickey Mouse found. :-/

Sucked it up and bought a new battery from Halfords, maybe a bit forward thinking as it could be a while before I actually need it.

Seat removal. Simple two bolts on the seat with a pin lock on a hinge.
