I know this is specific to task lists, but focus apps are also ADHD apps and Forest uses a "locks your phone" method. It does allow for calls, and you can set a specific list of allowed apps. The amount of times I would plant a pretty tree, just to get myself to do housework because, "unlocking phone kills the pretty tree and I should do something while I wait for the tree to grow."

I am for wellness apps despite their partial effectiveness. I'm more a proponent of exploring possible helpful things though. My stubbornness to gtd has been pivotal in actually finding ways to get shit done with regularity.

I'm African-American & Dominican. I like comics and tea. I draw comics and I stream on twitch. Yes, I create work in all the media listed. No, not all of it is intended for mass consumption. I sew and knit/crochet for fun. Animation, photography, and watercolor are the mediums I'm currently studying at a snail's pace. Despite the learning, I'm not a student. I just really like art.

Reminder about improvement:

We were talking about how reflection questions don't take into account time. They're always written for people who can set a goal and achieve it without their mental hiccups turning into mountains. For those of us with ADHD, Autism, etc. we often just need to take more time before we consider a system a failure. Not all systems and work arounds are failures if they aren't instant hits.
