I cannot believe I am only on week two of law school and already halfway through some of my notebooks. Excuse me???

Had my big exam today and it completely kicked my ass, I do not feel good about it AT ALL. I knew it was going to be really hard but it still absolutely sucked.
Chaotic study space was a vibe this whole week, ft. me freaking out in the family group chat and receiving reassuring teasing from my brother and a Boomer-sized string of emojis from my dad.

Tea or coffee?
I love both! But I’m somewhat caffeine sensitive (although my tolerance has increased over the years) so I have to be careful or I’m in for a Bad Time™️.
Studying in cafes is my absolute jam!! I’m currently such a regular at my fav cafe that they bring me coffee without even asking and I am nottttttt afraid 😇
herdrafts These are the books that arrived in my September bookmail: Emily Dickinson collected poems and Public Library by Ali Smith. In the past few weeks as I run out of physical books, and I didn’t feel like reading any ebooks, I’ve been rereading the secret history, updating its review, and reading an interesting cultural-fiction about family life and traditions from a small town in Taiwan called A Thousand Moons on a Thousand Rivers by Li-Hung Hsiao. It does helped me to get out from a sudden reading slump.
29.08.20 / happy saturday! i woke up early today with some free time before i had to start my day so i made some onigiri. fittingly, i’m working on refreshing japanese grammar today. how’s your weekend so far? ♡

Read More, Read Better
Many of us are looking for more ways to enjoy our time at home in these stressful circumstances. Some of us have turned to books. But how can we make sure we get the most out of them?

This morning I woke up around seven, I went out in the chilly weather and I couldn’t feel any fatigue even though I slept 3h last night. When I got back home I had a cup of coffee and I started writing and sketching, it was a pleasing day and I feel so productive.

Second week of med school is over!! The pace of lessons are slowly picking up and most of the days I feel like I’m racing against the time but hopefully I’ll get used to this. Btw this week I had the chance of visiting our school’s original building where you can only take a few lessons because it’s old and they need to preserve it and fell in love with it. The historical building seriously looks like Hogwarts, I will probably post its pictures some time soon.
Really really happy because I had a productive day (in my standards). Honestly ever since sophomore year started, I have just been slacking and been unmotivated and felt like I lost my sense of “drive” or “purpose.” I think it’s called the sophomore slump??
