essays: make each essay you write better than the last


 small assignments: aim for 100s, expect 100s, get 100s


 homework: pretend they’re assignments


 homework that’s not graded: pretend! they’re! assignments!


 tests: study for 100s, expect less


 long term projects: act like it’s due in four days -even when it’s not- until you’re done with it


 group projects: do not get angry


 presentations: pretend you’re obama

worked a super long and suuuuuper slow shift at the welcome table for incoming international students, but had the best time bonding with my shift mates! always try and make connections with your colleagues, it makes work feel like play~ now i’m jumping between chinese vocab review on quizlet and finishing moving back into my old room at my parents’ house (which i’m moving back out of in like three weeks lmao why am i even trying?)

I haven’t posted on here in forever! It’s because I’ve been trying to figure out my life haha and that means a lot of grad school/fellowship/employment applications I have to do while keeping up with classes…If anyone else is in the same position — I feel your pain!

Working on some transposition for orchestration :) I actually find this class really interesting since I actively compose music myself; I hope I’ll get better at it so it’ll be easier to write the scores for my soundtracks ! I’ve also been lowkey trying to learn High Valyrian; those are the notes in the corner

I finished the final draft of my college personal narrative and my make-up work for AP gov and AP calc is finally turned in so that’s a huge load off my shoulders! I just have orchestration left and then I’m off to study for my AP gov test this week. Expect another jam-packed notecard !

Here are my Biology notes on cell structure! I’m using the GoodNotes app on my iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil to write on it. Honestly it was tricky at first since I’m used to Wacom tablets but it was worth it lol.

13-08-18 I spent most of today in the library doing work. I corrected my end of year exams and I made so many silly mistakes that are so aggravating to look at because I know they were avoidable. I am very susceptible to exam stress and I really feel the pressure. I am learning to slow down and take my time to avoid such mistakes.
