only 3 more months of school. with going through a pandemic, shifting to learning online for almost two years, and finally coming back in person for the last stretch, it’s definitely been one for the books.

Home recently: my cat’s impeccable timing, a gift from a friend, the smell of old manga pages and the never ending trimming of plants. I am reminded that no matter how slow it all feels like sometimes, even with the occasional wilting, I am alive. I am breathing. And so life, as Robert Frost once said, goes on. The little, the worn and the quiet carry pieces of me and they come together to make it all worth it.

My mood has been a little off this week. I love the freedom of being a freelancer but sometimes I don’t love the responsibility of making my own schedule because I’m honestly not disciplined enough to keep up with a set structure. Hopefully I can find a happy medium soon. Being back in Philly and being close to family has helped with my sense of self and inspiration tho, so that’s a plus 🥲
